As always the service and employees were amazing. The seafood tower was good the crab legs were a little rubbery. And 2 of the 3 steaks were of 1 was amazing the lamb chops were on point. The sides were great and the dessert was amazing as always. We will be back soon

If you’re seeking the best service, ask for Brandon. He genuinely wants our dining experience to be worth it. For our first time there, he made our dining experience incredible definitely return soon. He was knowledgeable about everything on the menu, and the service was impeccable.

Give this one time. Service staff is confused and a little green. Things like two servers at once not knowing there was another one, wine not arriving until we asked where it was, server not knowing what sauce was for what dish. There is only one set of speakers for music and the manager insisted that the volume blast those seated at the bay view tables so that those in the dining area behind the bar could hear the music.

The presentation and quality of the food are superb! The seafood appetizers are magnificent and worthy of at least consideration for your first course. Although the restaurant has been open for less than a month, the service is second to none. They not only responded quickly to our requests, but they also anticipated our needs with a high level of professionalism. Maintaining a strict dress code in San Diego by the ocean can be challenging, so the wording on their website needs to be adjusted to better clarify the expectations. For example, a few men wore sport coats, some wore shorts, and others wore linen pants. I am sure they will fine-tune this more specifically so that everyone is more comfortable.

It was a great experience, very please that this new Mastros went above and beyond the Newport location which has not been great the last couple of times I went there. They have luckily brought back their very high standards of the best steak.

Food, service and ambiance were outstanding!! Wonderful addition to DTSD. Only minor complaint is corkage is $50. Wine list is extensive though.
