We did not have the best service or experience - it just felt like an off night. 7:30 pm reservation, appetizers and cocktails arrived at 8:30 pm after sitting for awhile. I initially ordered a certain cocktail, moments later, they were out of a cocktail ingredient. My husband ordered a certain steak, moments later, they were out of that particular type of steak. Our main course arrives, and we were brought an incorrect side and finished our steaks before the correct side arrived. Not the greatest experience for a birthday dinner. On a positive note, our table was in a great location with a view of the ocean.

We enjoyed the hospitality and the service.
Got the bone in filet. It wasn’t as good as the regular 8oz. I recommend 8oz filet and baked potato over garlic mash. Sautéed spinach and asparagus were good. Bread and butter basket delicious.
Food was great, but service could of been way better. I’ve been to multiple Mastro’s Restaurant chains and this one was the worst service ever! I tip great for a great service! But unfortunately this was not it. They even forget our anniversary!

We had the best time celebrating my birthday. Our table had a perfect view, but none of the tables have bad views. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable (they even got red wine out of my coat when another patron accidentally spilled some). A perfect dinner!
The drinks and service were really good at Mastros. However, the filet mignon that was ordered as medium was provided rare and with a significant amount of gristle. Our bill was $350 and the food quality definitely was not where it should have been for that amount.
The music was a tad loud so it was hard to talk. Other then that as always,
enjoyed the food and beautiful environment.
Food was amazing!! Celebrated my birthday here with a few friends and we all loved it. Dream berry is sooo good!
Excellent service and accommodated our needs
This was a birthday celebration, planned in advance. I called the restaurant to take care of the check in advance, and let them know this was a special occasion. Upon arrival, we waited 30 minutes for our table. We kept being told they were "making our table really special to enhance our experience." Really? Nothing was special about our table. Our server kept disappearing and no one checked on us. Drink refills were slow and far between. When our food arrived, our knives had been removed for our steaks, but no one had brought us steak knives. We waited and waited to get someone's attention so that we could eat our food. Once we were able to, eat, the food was very good, but the lack of service and care, particularly when an effort was made to ensure a fun evening was extremely disappointing.

I wanted nothing but the BEST for my daughter, whom graduated from college, Class of 2020. She finally got her day of recognition with a beautiful ceremony, so I wanted to celebrate this once in a lifetime achievement by choosing a restaurant which was elegant, superior, breathtaking location and above par.
Our server, Juan, was a true gem. Kudos to whomever hired him. He was kind, knowledgeable, attentive, personable and available for our every need. Juan is an accomplished and experienced man of his trait. If you can choose your own server, choose Juan, you will not be disappointed nor regret it.
The food was divine. We had Steaks, Chilean Seabass, King Salmon, baked potatoes, creamed spinach, creamed corn, and garlic mashed potatoes. The Steaks were cooked to absolute perfection. The Chilean Seabass was plump and scrumptious. The King Salmon was soft and each bite melted in our mouth (wise choice for the lady who just had a root canal).
The dessert requires its own paragraph and was to die for; Chocolate Sin Cake, Butter Cake topped with ice cream and lightly drizzled with chocolate syrup, and Cheese Cake. My daughter does not like Cheese Cake whatsoever, yet she devoured this one and loved it! Our table consensus was 100% order the Chocolate Sin Cake. You won't be disappointed.
Kudos to the Chef and everyone working the kitchen. You should all be proud of yourselves! The serving staff were spot on and right there to take plates away upon completion and box up items as needed.
Other than the hostess needing some manners and etiquette on her telephone skills, as well as being schooled on not being on her personal cell phone while guests are present, it was a phenomenal experience.

Great best ice and food was amazing
Food was amazing and the outdoor dining was completely safe and warm. It’s amazing that pre-covid the cars had a better view of the ocean than the guests! Birthday celebration was great!
Customer service was great overall from everyone. The outdoor patio where we were originally to be sat was definitely subpar though, specially considering Mastro‘s brand. You would think the make shift patio would be much nicer than what it was. We were seated I side which was very appreciated. The waitress was pleasant however we did have to wait over 20 minutes just to get our bread service which they seemed to initially forget about. Our cocktails seemed to also take a little while to get to us as well as we had noticed that we were seated for 15 minutes or so before anything had arrived to the table that was ordered. On top of that they had run out of straws and the glass that our drink was served in was definitely the kind you would drink out of a straw with so it was a challenge to drink out of. We had to ask for it in a different cup for the second one so it was easier to drink without the straw. Lastly, out steak was a tad undercooked- we had to send it back a bit. We ordered medium and it came medium- rare. Once the steak is cut and sent back it just doesn’t have the same taste but it was still good overall.
Overall, the food was great and the people were also great. Just a few little setbacks that you wouldn’t expect from Mastros.

Mastro’s was fantastic! The food and service was outstanding. This was my first time and I will definitely be going again. The ocean views were incredible. I highly recommend going in the early evening to see the sunset.
Made a reservation and still had to wait 45min for the table. Don’t remember ever being charged for bread service before. Service was good in the beginning and then it was hard to get water service.
We have been to Mastro's multiple times and they have never gotten the steak preparation correctly. It's getting quite frustrating given the prices they charge for steaks and drinks. They need to improve to better serve customers given this is a date night restaurant that is not cheap.
This is one of our favorite restaurants and dining experiences in los Angeles. I always try to make reservations just before sunset as the view from the restaurant is amazing.
The service was horrible. Once we had ordered our server was no where to be found. The bussing of our table was poor. We literally moved all our dishes to the side, since they sat empty for some time.
Completely disappointed for what we paid, and the quality of food and service.

I wish I could give a higher review because Mastro’s is my FAVORITE restaurant in LA. However for my daughters birthday the experience was lack luster! First we had to wait a long time for our reserved outside table. Then when I saw the table, I requested the empty table, of the same size but was closer to the beach view. I was told by the hostess, she would have to check, she did a d was told no. I requested a manager, Maria came out and again told me no when I nicely requested the table closer to the beach. I was told it was being reserved for a party to arrive at my reservation time. I asked the manager how will they know which table you had reserved, they aren’t here yet. Another hostess came out (didn’t get her name) and she also told me no, and finally stated it was reserved for “corporate”. Our server Sydney was absolutely fabulous! She made our celebration better. However once it was time to go, several guys took all our food (a table of 5) to pack up to take home and one of our sides was misplaced. When we asked one of the guys about the side, he questioned if we were sure it was missing and initially attempted to go through our bags himself. He realized his misstep, and stopped but continued to credulously question if we actually were missing the side. Again it gave me the feeling as a customer that my experience and voice is not heard or even important as a customer. Sydney came over and made sure we got that side new to take home. One last thing that actually happened at the beginning, one car in our party turned left into the exit lane right behind another car (this bring their 1st time at this location) and the Valet allowed the car in front of my party to come in and park, then rudely waived my party away. This is the first time I have had an experience like this at Mastro’s and I’m sorry to say it felt racially motivated.

Good experience, Mastro’s in Beverly Hills is a much better experience. They need to step up the service at this location.
Our reservation was at 9:15pm, outdoor seating. We arrived about 20 minutest early and the hostess advised us to wait by the bar and have drinks as they could seat us around 9. We had drinks at the bar waiting for our table; 9pm passed, 9:15pm passed, 9:30pm passed- we still didn’t get called that our table was ready. Finally around 9:40pm, my husband went to check on the status of our table with the hostess-our table was still not ready. At 9:45 while still during at the bar, they called me saying our table is ready. The hostess then lead us to a table in the middle of the dining room; indoors. NOT outside as we requested. When my husband and I asked why were being seated inside when we specifically asked for outside seating, the hostess’s response was ‘it’s not available tonight’ and walked away. Mind you, we have been waiting to be seated to have our anniversary dinner for over 45 minutes at this point. The service at the bar was excellent as were the drinks. Our server was also very sweet and brought out a cheesecake for our anniversary. Those were the only good things about this restaurant. Everything else- including the food was unsatisfactory for a restaurant with such high standards. This was our first time dining at this restaurant and it most certainly will be the last. I would not come back here or recommend to anyone else. The only good thing about this place was the drinks-and service at the bar, and their cheesecake. That’s it. Everything else is definitely not worth the hype.
Everything was great! The dream berry martini was amazing, our waitress was amazing..she made everything perfect for me and my boyfriend’s anniversary dinner.

My wife didn’t like the glass of wine and they wouldn’t exchange it for something else. The bartender was rude and said I already poured it. It was an expensive wine just a house pour. I had to ask the manager to get it exchanged. By the time we sat down and we were finally served our dinner it was an hour and a half.
