I loved everything about it except for the wait. We reserved a table a month in advance and waited as they clearly double booked people. After 1/2 hour waiting, we chose to eat outside and it was a chilly October night.

We had a reservation for 5:30pm. It was show nite at TD Garden so we arrived a bit earlier just in case. We did get in about 1/2 hour after our reservation time. It was very busy due to show nite. There were outdoor tables available but it was a chilly evening (luckily our reservation was for indoors). We were seated down in the wine cellar which was a cool room and every seat was taken making it a fun atmosphere. We shared Nona's meatball for an app...delicious! Bread is basic. I had clam and shrimp linquini (wouldn't have minded a couple of extra shimp in my dish). It was good. My husband had the chicken parm. He liked it. Our waitress was very nice. Jack (waiter?) was very attentive and was running from table to table checking on everyone's needs. Cuddos to him! I would definitely go again! If it's show and/or game nite at TD Garden make an early reservation!

Massiminos is one if my go-to places in the North End since it’s opening. It never fails- the food was excellent- the service outstanding. Close to TD North so a perfect dining experience prior to seeing Michael Buble!
Only concern is they crowded us in downstairs and given COVID was concerned . We initially were spread out and then they put a table right next to us- we felt compelled to ask if the diners were vaccinated-they were so we were ok!
Everyone was attending the show so service was great- and we enjoyed the upbeat atmosphere!

Our server was sweet and always made sure we were doing good and enjoying ourselves. The food was nothing short of amazing. From the drinks to the apps to the entree everything was delicious. One of the best restaurants in the north end!

We were up from the Cape and wanted real Italian food. Massiminos went above all of our expectations. We were a party of six. One person in our group told the manager that her eggplant was the best she ever had. Great all around place to go!

Delicious! Our waiter was so attentive, the atmosphere was cozy and quaint and the food was the best. We had the chicken piccata and chicken marsala that came with pasta and sauce -- the sauce was perfect! Can't wait to eat there again! Thank YOU

We were welcomed by a gracious hostess/server. My husband and I chose to sit outside. Love that the restaurant is on Endicott St., away from the hustle and bustle. I ordered the scrod pizzaiola. My husband ordered lobster ravioli. Food was delicious, and served piping hot. He had a Stella, and I had a glass of chianti. We split a chocolate mousse for dessert. It was an excellent experience, and we will definitely return.

The owner, Paul, makes you feel as though he's a friend who has invited you in for a family dinner. He obviously loves people and food, and putting the two together in the most harmonious way possible. The dishes we had were some of the best Italian fare I've eaten of late, with flavorful, fresh ingredients influenced by Paul's southern Italian origins. He proudly shares which recipes came from his grandmother, and invites you to see seating in the wine cellar when you ask about group dinners.

Verry disorganized in seating customers. Would help if they had dedicated hostess seating customers as we lost our outdoor reserved table to a group that was waiting for an indoor table. Some other employee just gave away that table without chrcking us in (because we had spoken to a different “hostess”

Very pleasant and relaxed outdoor dinner on a beautiful evening. Atmosphere reminded us of street-side dining in Italy. Chef personally went over menu with us. We ended up having the bone-in swordfish steak special and lobster ravioli, both of which were delicious and unique preparations.

It’s off the beaten path in the north end and although everyone was very nice, the food was average. My carbonara tasted more like an Alfredo. The veal piccata was drowning in butter. Their tomato sauce is good but would have been bettte served with freshly grated parmigiano. The calamari however we’re fantastic! The pasta portions were large. The bread was disappointing.

The service here is exceptional - knowledgable, attentive and never hovering (👋 Bryce). Our group arrived 20 minutes early for our reservation and were immediately given our choice of table on the delightful sidewalk patio. And not a complaint that we had to wait to order until one of our group returned from parking the car.
Don’t miss Nonna’s meatball. Massimino’s house sauce is outstanding and the meat was cooked to perfection. A whipped cheese accompaniment made the dish.
The extensive menu is full of classic goodness and there are plenty of options within each protein category. The specials - our order included the Tagliatelle Limoncello (with scallops and shrimp) - are creative and flavorful.
The other clientele are relaxed and happy, adding to the experience.
Fingers crossed the City of Boston lets these outdoor dining areas remain. It adds so much to the ambiance of the North End and feels especially right on the charming side streets.

Excellent food in the North End of Boston! A worldwide food mecca. My family enjoyed everything about it. We had a table at the open window on a beautiful night. Our waiter gave us some value insight on the large menu. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly. Prices were a good value considering the quality and more than satisfying taste.

Street parking is the only issue that I see folks having but there are plenty of very close lots….

Overall we were HAPPY! There was a street fair going on when we arrived so we elected to eat inside. We were shown to a table on their lower level & had to wait until they found two chairs, but just a few minutes. Our waiter was very prompt & brought us bread & took our drink orders quickly. I ordered the Caprese Salad & it was DELICIOUS (I shared with my wife) For Dinner my wife ordered the Ravioli Marinara & she loved it & said the sauce (gravy) was AWESOME! I ordered the Zuppa di Pesce Napoletana, it too was DELICIOUS & I had to ask for more bread to soak up all the Sauce :-). All in all I was VERY PLEASED, the only drawback was it was a little noisy, but it sort of added to the atmosphere. So at least 4 STARS

Our family made a reservation at 6:30 outside. We arrived a few minutes early and we were seated outside (tables are packed together). Right away we were given waters and bread by a member of the wait staff. We sat for another 14 minutes (I was timing it) without any acknowledgment, menus, etc. There was a table of 2 that got seated after us and were given menus and a wait staff member took their drink order so we get up and left since clearly they didn't care for our business. I should have listened to some of the reviews about slow service. I've never left a restaurant due to poor service - I'd never go back nor would recommend. Disappointed but ended up eating up the street at Tony and Elaine's and had a fantastic meal there instead.

Personally wasn't wowed by the food. The Veal Massimino was drowning in a sauce that was already splitting before it came to the table, therefore i received about 9 small pieces of veal with oil settling upon it. My partner was more or less confused by her Chicken Marsala as there appeared to be chunks of ham on it. Our hopes were that this would at least be prosciutto, but from taste and intuition you could tell that it was pieces of deli ham. Also the marsala sauce was overly sweet and there was no real wine flavor. Overall while the restaurant was quaint, I don't believe it lived up to its hype and overall we won't be returning.
