Been to MASH over 50 times over the years and usually it is excellent. However on Saturday the service was dreadful. We waited 45 minutes for our table (despite it being a reservation) and were only seated after we chased the server twice. The server then took us to the table without bringing our drinks over. The waiter we had failed to tell us about the specials and overall the service was slow and inattentive. The waiter then had the audacity to complain when we asked for the £45 service charge to be removed due to how poorly they looked after us.

Decent steak but far too expensive, especially considering all sides were extra - including a sauce. Huge dining room with little ambience. Booths were large and comfy and not at all crowded as in some expensive restaurants, but the size of the dining room made it seem like some enormous cafeteria. Good wine list - but again too much mark-up.

Great night at MASH for our birthdays. Second time we've visited and the food was as amazing as the first visit. We weren't rushed from our table and the service was impeccable. The lighting is very low but does add to the ambiance. Would have liked a bigger cocktail menu at the bar before dinner.

Had dinner with my husband in Mash on Friday. The food was great especially the spinach with gruyere- best spinach I ever had, maccaroni and cheese were great and the rib eye - especially the Scottish one was excellent. I did not like the chips and the jalapenos as much. The wine was amazing - great malbec, most wines are on the pricier side. Service was great but the atmosphere was not up to my taste personally - the lighting was not nice - looked great on the booths but not on the side tables and the red furniture was a bit too masculine and basic looking and the whole place is just a big too big. However, booths are nice for a date night or friends get together and great food.

Had a delicious pre theatre set menu before seeing Aladdin for our anniversary. We were amazed by the standard of food, the speed of courses coming out as we needed to get out before the show and the attentiveness of the staff was second to none. This basement restaurant is a hidden gem with 1920's America vibe - jazz music playing in the background and beautiful decor. The set menu was great value for money and the food was delicious! Would highly recommend

Delicious food in an incredible setting, ideal for a long overdue catch-up with a friend or special date night. We both had the 3-course dinner (£30 each) , a bottle of red wine (£39) & shared a side (£4), plus service (£13) all from the set-menu if seated before 7pm. Note: The steak and only one side feels a little bare on the plate so definitely worth getting an extra one to share at least.

This restaurant exceeded my expectations. Impeccable service, the most attentive I've ever had in London. Great at recommending what to have. Steak cooked perfectly, all sides presented very well. Slightly pricy but here you literally get what you pay for -- and it's totally worth it! Will definitely return.

I hadn’t heard of this Modern American SteakHouse restaurant before but was recommended it by someone I trust and he was right: it does very good steak. The staff were perhaps unsure about how to deliver something special for our occasion but they did their jobs and were open to us being a bit whimsical with our interest in their selection of gins
