   We've been looking for a good Indian restaurant near Wembley for a while and decided to try Masalchi. Loved the food and the service was excellent. we ordered punjabi samosa, onion kale bhaji and masalchi teekha and wow what a combination of flavors all came with different dipping sauces that really worked, loved them all. Next course arrived and we had the quinoa cauliflower kofta (my fav) with mad di daal (outstanding) plus rice and a garlic naan, my wife and I ate everything and thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful. It's so nice to get different dishes that have been so well put together very creative and tasty. We will be back.

   Super upset about our night out at Masalchi yesterday. I had eaten here once before a couple of years ago and the dining experience had been full of fun and frolic and great value for money, encouraging me to bring my son (who is amassive foodie) back here one day. I booked a table for 2 before the Olly Murs concert at the Ovo Arena. My son was really excited, he was looking forward to his first Michelin star experience - he is 14 and wants to be a chef. We ordered 2 starters and 2 mains with a couple of glasses of lassi and some naan and rice. The Chicken 65, which was supposed to be a ‘must try’ dish was horribly bland and overly deep fried. Left both of us disappointed and bemused as to why it had had such good reviews. The Papdi chaat, though delicious, was tiny. We (very foolishly) paid £24 for 3 lamb chops marinated in pomegranate molasses which I could have made better at home. All in all, it was an incredibly disappointing experience. The worst part was the bill. I am a Pakistani mum who could have cooked so much better at home. We left feeling ripped off and wishing we had gone elsewhere. Would not recommend.
