   We went on Valentine's Day based on reviews on here and seeing it since it opened in the mall. I must say, we were extremely underwhelmed. Initial greeting was delayed, nobody was at the host desk. Then a table had to be cleared for us. Once we were seated, it was a good while (5+ but not 10) minutes for the server to greet us. We placed our order and got the complementary chips and salsa pretty quickly. The chips were ok, not fantastic. The two salsas were barely ok, not very spicy or flavorful. The guacamole we ordered was decent. not amazing though. Our meals, salmon, portabello tacos, kids pasta, and kids quesadilla were all just barely in the acceptable range, if pretty small portions for the amount of money we were spending. The salad was about 5 whole romaine lettuce leaves, uncut. Again, pretty small portion for the price. We left a review on the receipt QR code and got a response from management within a few minutes saying "sorry we were understaffed".

   Food and service were amazing. Really enjoyed the jalapeño margaritas, very different but tasty. My only issue, if it is an issue was the choice in music they were playing. Some didn’t seem to fit the theme of the restaurant, I think I heard some things that sounded Irish.

   Live music was extremely loud, so had to sit outside and it was still too loud to carry on a conversation. We checked menu online, but they had just changed it so we were disappointed with the choices. The shrimp tacos were ok if all of the pickled ingredients were removed.

   First time dining at Mas Fuego. Local resident from the area. Went before our movie started(located next to the movie theater.) The Eloté corn was ok, served on a stick...was served somewhat cold, not hot. :-/ Moved on to the tacos, one order has 2 tacos, and we shared the baja fish tacos and portobello mushroom tacos. Very good!!! We also shared the charred cauliflower, also recommended. They have a good cocktail list and happy hour prices. I will say that the menu is fairly limited, so I would take a look-see before you go. Our server was great. A good place to go before a movie, so we will go back for another try.

   We showed up early for our reservation and received extra special treatment! Dora helped us find the best food and drinks, and also made us some house made quesadillas to say thank you for being the early birds! Thank you!
