Mary Mahoney's Old French House Restaurant in Biloxi, Mississippi specializes in serving a broad selection of locally sourced seafood and prime steaks. Family owned and operated for over 60 years, the restaurant is housed in one of America's oldest homes and features a romantic courtyard setting and numerous quaint dining rooms.

Mary Mahoney's Old French House serves lunch and dinner six days a week and offers a variety of appetizers including our famous Broiled Crab Claws, Fried Soft Shell Crabs, Charbroiled Oysters and Shrimp and Lump Crabmeat Seafood Gumbo. Signature dishes served at Mary Mahoney's Old French House include Queen Ixolib, Fresh Fish of the Day topped with Lump Crabmeat, Sisters of the Sea Au Gratin and Shrimp and Lump Crabmeat Melba. A children's menu is available.

Mary Mahoney's says their gumbo is famous, and one taste verifies that assessment. It is not bragging. I had the shrimp and grits - wonderful. The inclusion of sausage heightened the flavor and balanced the sweetness of the shrimp. My wife's stuffed shrimp were overflowing with a spectacular crabmeat stuffing. It is a great place for lunch. Also, it is a great lunch value. Dinner is significantly more expensive. Eating at Mary's Mahoney's is a step back into time, and a thoroughly enjoyable and delightful experience. Mariah was our server, and she was spectacular.

Nice interior, food was not so good unless you get the filet. It was a birthday dinner and they would do nothing even though I called them and said they would. 2 people in party could not eat their food. Gumbo and SISTERS OF THE SEA AU GRATIN. I would not go back if in the area again.

35 th wedding anniversary. First time we had been. Heard mixed reviews but mostly positive. The good- server was fantastic and attentive. Was able to accommodate us sharing food because of my dietary restrictions. Bottle of wine was very good (her recommendation). Atmosphere- pleasant enough but honestly we were seated at a window looking at a parking area. Food- Meh. It was good. Not great. I guess I expected something I would be talking about but it was just fine not fabulous. Glad I’ve gone but wouldn’t go back as there are so many excellent choices in the area.

Fabulous Meal and Serrvices as always we bragged to our friends from Gulf Shores and they really enjoyed everything about it. Our server, Cameralin? sp? was amazing! She made the night for sure
