Fabulous service with excellent food that was a great value for amount served
Food and service was excellent!
Just as good each and every time I visit with great service as a cornerstone.
Everything was great. Food was very good. Our waitress has been working there over 20 years and was friendly and took care of our every need.
Absolutely the best meal we have had in a very long time. Loved our waiter Devon. Wished we lived closer.
Melba dish and martinis were incredible! Gumbo and charbroiled oysters were good. Service was ok. We sat over 10 minutes before we received a drink and waitress didn’t seem to be familiar with ingredients of all dishes, as she was unable to answer some of our questions. Didn’t think the price matched the experience. I would go back, but would probably sit at the bar for quicker service.
Food was excellent. Just the right amount of food. Left full but not heavy feeling.
Normally outstanding. We went on a Thursday and were disappointed. In the future I would only go on Friday or a week end.
Fantastic!! Simply fantastic. Loved the food, awesome service! Ben here multiple times, keeps getting better!
As always the food was great have been eating 2 or 3 times per year at Mary Mahoney’s since 1971 - over 48 years - always great
My wife and I went to Mary Mahoney's Old French House for my birthday dinner and it was a great experience. My wife said the ribeye was the best she's ever had. I had the Queen Ixolib dish and it was fantastic. The best shrimp and crab au gratin I've ever tasted. The service was great and the ambiance was wonderful. We will definitely return to Mary Mahoney's Old French House next time we are in Biloxi. I recommend you visit, as well.
Didn’t meet expectations at all. Mediocre at best.
This is always a great restaurant, I do suggest making reservations on the weekends. Service is wonderful along with atmosphere and great food, from the gumbo, to the pecan pie!
Best steak I’ve ever eaten in my life!Priceybut worth every penny. Great service also.
We were celebrating my son's 30th birthday. We had a private room so the noise level was not anything to be considered. The wait staff was awesome, the entertainment (the owner's joke's) was fabulous and the food was PHENOMINAL!
Thank you for a very memorable 30th birthday celebration!
First time to eat there. Everything was wonderful. Service was excellent. Malachi was sue peen
It was a Christmas present for my parents
Food was not edible. Etouffee was black. Fish was gray. Waiter did not describe the same dish that was served. He was dumbfounded. Asked for “hot” bread pudding it was cold. Waiter offered another we said please be sure it’s hot. Nope it was cold. Made a reservation for 3, special occasion, birthday, very embarrassing. Worst meal we’ve ever had on the cost. We are locals and cannot recommend this restaurant. Shameful
Friendly staff and delicious food!
Great for our anniversary. Server was very polite and knowledgeable. Food was delicious.
Best food, best service. Always happy visiting Mary Mahoney’s.
Local gem that's been a staple in the community for fifty years or more. The food is consistent, and the atmosphere elegant yet playful. Family owned, and the family is always there making sure the performance delivers on expectations.
I would recommend going here for lunch. The portions are the same size for half the price of the dinner menu. Always great service.
Great place for New Year’s Eve.
New Years Eve dinner with eight friends. Excellent service and outstanding food. We had a great time and will return there again real soon !!
One of the best meals I’ve ever had! The veal was windetful
Great restaurant. Went for New Year's Eve - reservations only. They were well prepared for the number of diners. Waiter was super attentive. Seemed like they were tiring to get people in and out, which was fine.
Mary the owner personally came to our table to speak with us. Her personality was fabulous. The bartender was great as well. It was a fabulous way to bring in the new year!
This was our first dining experience here and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious and the ambiance was nice. Great service as well. We will definitely be coming back.
A must visit restaurant if you visit Biloxi.
Food and atmosphere was great, waitress went above and beyond to make our experience perfect.
I loved the IXOLIB fish with the side of crawfish etouffe. I am picky about gumbo and bread pudding, and they both met my specifications. The veal should have been cooked a bit crispier for my taste. The asparagus was cooked to perfection. Our server was a lovely young woman with blonde hair and a fair complexion (I have forgotten her name but she is from Oceans Springs.) who could not have been more attentive.
I've been here many times over the years, but this was the first time in quite a while. We had cocktails and the seafood platter. The broiled speckled trout was delicious. The shrimp and oysters were fried lightly with a wonderful light batter that really brought out the flavor of the shellfish. The service was very attentive, and we had a fantastic experience.
We had a great time celebrating our daughter’s birthday. Our waiter Steve was excellent!
This is a place out of history that captivates old world service and fine food. Steaks and seafood are delicious and perfectly prepared but all is made even better by the service. Our waiter “Orantall” or he says call him “O”, is both welcoming and entertaining. I felt like a regular and highly valued. Price is a little pricey but considering the area, historic setting and service, I’d almost expect it to be higher. I’d call it well in line. Don’t forget to finish with the bread pudding. I don’t even like bread pudding and this was the bomb.
Awesome meal as usual. Four of us enjoyed four different entree’s and two appetizers. Each item was amazing. We highly recommend MaryMahoney’s.
Very disappointing for a $300+ bill! Prime Rib was very full of fat and full of grissell. Should have sent it back but we already had to send filet back for overcooked. Presentation of meat was sad, just meat sitting in a pool of broth. 5 pieces of asparagus for a side. Server spilled wine glass on table. It was our Christmas family party of 5 so we were not happy and will not be back.
The food was amazing. Best we’ve had on the coast since moving here this spring. And we eat out a lot! Service was impeccable! Tony Jones was great! Great environment. We will definitely bring out of town guests here. Loved it!
