Welcome to Market Place Kitchen & Bar! We are a new Modern American Restaurant in the heart of Woodbury, CT, we are run by Executive Chef Matt DeLongis. We celebrate and encourage local, organic and sustainably harvested food and spirits. The interior of our space is compiled of sustainable and local materials, utilizing beautiful 300 year old barn wood from the Gurski Farm in Brookfield, CT. For three years in a row we were named Best Farm To Table Restaurant by the readers of the Waterbury Observer! We look forward to you trying our inventive, seasonally inspired cuisine and cocktails. We had a lovely late lunch in the bar. Charlotte waited on us and was friendly, pleasant and welcoming. Lunch salads were great.

Had the salmon sandwich, though very good the salmon amount was on the small end. All other aspects were great. The other two dinner entries were good as well. The live music started at 9pm, may wish to consider an earlier start as there were not that many patrons left to enjoy it. However lower volume down to allow for conversations.

My family had an exceptional experience in our last visit. My wife and I both ordered off the restaurant week menu. Each course was delicious and huge! Honestly, the portion sizes could be reduced slightly and be fine. The place was busy, but the service was very good and everything timed out well. Nice job!
