MariPili is a James Beard nominated Galician themed tapas bar providing a casual environment for elevated Spanish bar food and homestyle cooking. MariPili is named for chef's aunt and the bar and walls are adorned with Galician art and keepsakes. Estrella Galicia is served on tap and there are a wide variety of tapas options like the pan seared lingcod 'Bacallau a Mariñera' and Spanish classic 'Croquettas de Jamon' as well as our seasonal tasting menu Tapear Tapearei which includes many bite sized courses reflecting a more traditional tapas experience. Honoring the chef's blended heritage, the wine list features a selection from Spain and Washington exclusively.

Food, service, staff - simply amazing. From the minute you walk in to the minute you leave, you are well taken care of. You get to enjoy the evening while food and drink comes at a leisure pace.

Exceeded our expectations. Truly exceptional and outshines high quality Tapas in Spain. We are very lucky to have this gem here. Don’t overlook the Spanish croissant. It is next level great. Doubt you will find a dish you don’t love. We had several and they were all very impressive.

Flavorful and sophisticated plates. Nice hip vibe without being overwhelming. The best dessert in Seattle -- torrijas chocolate. The portions are still too small even for tapas plates, though.

My wife and I went out to celebrate our anniversary, and this is one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long, long time. The food was fantastic, and we really appreciated being able to hear each other talk… There was music, but it was at a reasonable level.

Excellent tapas and desserts. We appreciated that multiple members of the staff were attentive and brought out the food when it was still hot. I would definitely go back again.

Excellent Spanish food and solid knowledgeable service. Some unusual, fusion dishes like Paella Tahdig and the fried sunchokes with romesco was out of this world. Fun and tasty touch with the pea pod shaped mousse garnishing the super fresh asparagus and peas dish. We will be back for the set menu next time!
