   Food was average and we expected to have a great meal after reading other reviews. The wait staff were very attentive but we would not put this restaurant high on our list for Nee Orleans cuisine.

   So sorry you felt that way about our food. We try really hard to give you things you can't get anywhere else and we exhaustively test everything before it hits our menu.    Clean comfortable atmosphere. Great live music when we were there. Food excellent. Definitely would recommend and return when in the area again.

   Best crab cakes we’ve ever had. All the food was as good as it gets. The waitress took our order and forgot about us. We had to chase her down twice before she brought us the bill.

   This was our first time in New Orleans, and we stumbled upon this place. After spending what felt like too much time on Bourbon Street, the elegant atmosphere was what drew us in. That and the three-piece jazz band. We were blown away by everything at this bar, the service, the cocktails, and even returned the following night for a full dinner. Great job everyone! We will be recommending you to friends. Also, those were the best brussels sprouts I have ever put in my mouth! Yummo!

   But only for proximity to the music clubs. The noise level and unexceptional food would not make me return. Wait staff great, bartender slow.

We think that our PBJnP, Gourmet Mac n Cheese and our Butter Poached Ribeye are all exceptional. We must have missed the mark in the perperation of your dishes.    Service was slow and inattentive. Shrimp with grits were grits with a bit of shrimp.

    Marigny Bistro was a lovely experience. We wanted somewhere to eat dinner with a jazz band so got a table in front of the band at 6:30 (they started at 7pm). My husband had the ribeye (he said it was excellent, and he’s fussy), my equally fussy 12 year old daughter had the Marigney burger and fries (she loved it, actually ate the entire burger) and I had the veggie dish (feeling a bit over protein after a week of eating out) and it was also sensational. Beers were great and the music divine. Overall I certainly recommend this place as a clean, well lit alternative to some of the more grungier looking places with music on Frenchmen Street.
