We had reservations for 7:45 PM the place was not very busy and we did not get our food until an hour and 15 minutes later. We spoke to the manager and he said that the kitchen staff was short. When the food finally arrived, It was sub par. The bottom of my fish sandwich was wet and soggy, the french fries were soggy, the salad was very wilted and we sent it back. It was very disappointing . The waitress was amazing though .
Food was expensive and terrible but the overall experience would have been better if the ambience had been good. Very disappointed!
I emailed the manager 2 days ago and still no response. The service was so bad that my 12 yr old daughter said it seems like we are an inconvenience. We had to ask our server for silver not once but twice and practically beg for drink refills. Unacceptable.
They were not very busy we went about 8:30pm and all the tables were left dirty, our table was wobbly and the manager didn’t even offer to change us to a separate table after telling him our problem. The food was definitely sub par. Had to ask another waitress for drink refills
Our drinks were not very frozen , it took awhile to get them so I’m assuming thru sat out awhile.
It took 45 mins to get a salad (soggy lettuce for $17) and 2 burgers. The floor was littered with trash and the waiter was inattentive, making me have to waive her down to ask for silverware. $6 for a much ultra...all in all, not a great dining experience. We enjoyed the game room and the deck, however so, we’ll just go back for this part, moving forward.
The service or lack there of is horrible. We visited the first day of summer The pool area was packed and there was only one bartender working. I went inside to ask for outdoor seating/dining service. It was 4 o’clock and shift change. A waitress said she was tipping out the bus boy and sage would be right with me as the next shift had. It arrived at 4:04 pm. I went. Ack to my outdoor table and no one ever came to our table. Eventually I went to the bar and ordered our meal there. It was delivered to us 40 mins later in a to go bag.
The website for this place is a lot better than reality.
They were out of everything and it took so long it was laughable. We should have gone to McDonalds because at least it would have been cheap. Our server was very nice and the ambiance is fun but I need more than that to make up for the rest of the experience
Food was just ok. Service was unorganized and very slow. We had a reservation and had no wait to be seated; there were many tables available. However, despite the fact that our party size was 10 people, no one had taken the time to arrange tables for us, so we stood by in the walkway while the staff hastily moved 4 tables to accommodate us. It wasn’t very busy and there seemed to be staff members standing around the room, but we were there for more than 2 hours.
Worse quality food I have ever eaten, Denny's is much better.
The hostess was busy talking with waitresses when we arrived who were concerned about their sections. It took a few minutes, but we were greeted. The floor was dirty and littered with food, napkins and other trip hazards. Our waitress was full of excuses but no remedies. Our food portions were smaller than our kids portions, the coconut shrimp was very our quality. Not once did our waitress refill our drinks. It took 45 minutes to get our food, bit the restaurant was ess than 1/4th full. This restaurant is not what it once was and needs new management and employees who care.
Carlton was our server, Nicole helped us as well. Both were extremely friendly and helpful. Nicole recommended a Mango Margarita that my husband and I both loved. The menu had calories after each item, made ordering easy. I went for the BBQ sandwich 600 calories, one of the lowest on menu it was good, and Carlton’s favorite. Our daughter had kid pasta, it was ok. Not everyone should do pasta. My husband and the fish Tacos, very good. I had a watermelon Margarita for dessert.
When we booked our vacation at Margaritaville Resort, we expected a dining experience like other Margaritaville restaurants we had visited. This one cannot compare. The slaw was made from ruining, wilted cabbage, the seafood was no better than frozen from the grocery store, and the waitress had to correct our bill 3 times before getting it correct. The kids drinks in the light up glasses were so sour the kids could not drink them. We were very disappointed and cancelled our reservation for Doe's the next night, and our return reservation for this Margaritaville on Saturday night for fear of same results. We left the resort to find food for the rest of our stay.
Jimmy Buffett restaurant is the best!!
If u go ask for Jennifer as your waitress..she is awesome..and Khaalis was the greeter and wow he was great and we saw him doing a little bit of everything. They were great!!!
Terrible experience and food is overpriced and not good. Waitress would disappear for long periods of time, we had to ask for the one refill on drinks that we got . Our steak ordered medium was charred 1/4 of an inch on one side and you could not even cut it with a steak knife. Salad wilted and brown, pasta had oil floating in it. Ribs were very good and tender. We were there celebrating 2 graduations and a Birthday and told them. “Automatic tip” of 20% because there were 6 of us. I let them know how dissatisfied we were and got nothing- no sorry- no how can we do better. Will not eat there again. Went local the next night Tastee Tails and had great food and service.
Service was extremely slow .... not impressed with management
Restaurant was fun for a get together. The down side is that the bar was extremely slow to push drinks out and that you had to follow up with the waitress for items ordered. Lastly, their key lime dessert tasted like it had been bought from a store, frozen, then partially thawed and then refrozen before being served. The crust was so hard that it took me standing up with two hands to cut through the crust.
Linette was a great waitress. Food was really good and worth the money. My family enjoyed ourselves here and my kids loved watching the volcano.
Good for resort dining. Really kid friendly and loud. It is what it is...
Waited 20 minutes. No waiter came to our table to even acknowledge we were there. Will not go back. We left without any service even after contacting the manager.
Service was awful. Food was fine. Seems like kitchen and front of house had a disconnect. People were not very friendly. Overall not a good experience but went for daughter to play in arcade below. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.
Absolutely horrible. Food, service, atmosphere, everything.
We had to ask for everything at least three times. Our appetizers took 42 minutes to come. Our server forgot to put two of our orders in. We waited for those two orders and everyone else's food was cold when they finally came. She never cleared our empty glasses. At one point we had 18 glasses on the table. She also forgot to take our vouchers out. She never apologized for the late entrees but instead told us that it was because the items were new and she had to go upstairs to the kitchen. The manager finally came over but it was too late to salvage our meal. Unfortunately, we weren't the only victims. Two other tables in our area asked for the manager. The restaurant catered heavily to children. Not something we expected based on our visits to every other Margaritaville. It was loud, balloons were popping, kids were running around. Just a terrible experience.
this is the worst restaurant experience I've ever had.
My husband ordered a med/rare steak, it was so tough you couldn't chew it. He had green beans that you literally could see that it was two separate cookings of beans...I ordered a Guacamole burger and waffle sweet potato fries, the burger had so little guacamole, you couldn't taste it, and the bun was dry.. they brought reg fries instead of sweet potato, She ordered the SP fries but when she brought them they were cold and greasy . We had our food probably 15 minutes before they brought my sons mac and cheese, It had no taste. Right before we left I ordered a mic ultra and they brought a miller lite. It almost sounds like to much to be true...BUT IT IS. This is the worst experience I've ever had.
The food was overpriced, service was mediocre. I ordered the Mac and cheese for my daughter and it was identical to Kraft but I paid $7.99 for it. They didn’t have a live band on a Saturday night. The only nice part was the 2 people walking around on stilts making balloon animals and doing tricks for kids.
Service was great, everyone was friendly and professionally but the food was nothing special and definitely not worth the price. Had the Cheeseburger in Paradise and honestly I would be more likely to go to Waffle House to get my next cheeseburger than go back, two others had the fish tacos. It was a real disappoint from his other restaurants.
Very cool atmosphere but our trip was not so great due to the noise. They had little kids doing backflips and cheers right by our table. Luckily the music helped shield some of it out but definitely wasn’t looking to hearing “5,6,7,8” every 2 minutes while trying to eat. Lol. Good service and food but it is a bit on the expensive side. Would recommend the nachos and coconut shrimp!
Food was as expected. You aren’t going for the food but for the atmosphere; however, this one didn’t really have the atmosphere either. We had to send back a drink, salad and kids meal and that’s just not usual for us even with low food expectation. We enjoy the hotel but won’t eat here again.
Food was better than I thought it would be, everyone enjoyed their meals.
Definitely a kid spot.
The food was not all that good. I did not finish any of the meals I purchased.
The food was horrible. I ordered the chicken and it was dry and bland. It came with rice, and it tasted like "Rice a Roni". My husband had the steak, ted potaoes, and green beans. There was no seasoning on anything, and his potatoes were sti ll cold. We had no bread or salad . It waa $53, beyond ridiculous. We will nor teturn.
We were a large party and were put off in a corner, away from everything. Waiter didn't seem all that interested in taking care of us. Took forever to order then get food. Kids' meal came out about 5 minutes after adult entrees. Appetizer came out immediately before entrees. Black beans were so salty I couldn't eat them. Had to ask for drink refills multiple times before we got them. Tip was automatically included, which I think gave waited the impression he didn't have to actually work for his tip. Won't be going back. Resort was great, but restaurant was not up to par at all.
Breakfast buffet with Santa was a cute idea, not many people where there while we were, yet the service staff was very slow, drinks ran empty and had to wait over 10 mins for the waitress to get our check so we could pay and leave.
The staff was friendly, efficient and wonderful. We went for breakfast with Santa. The breakfast buffet could have been more especially for the pricing and the food was bland. Nothing a little salt and pepper didn't fix. I was really disappointed that pictures were not given to is though. I had to go online to copy the picture. Again for the pricing that should have been included.
We were there for breakfast with Santa and Santa was awesome! The setup was perfect! Such adorable props for photography! The service was great also! I was not impressed by the breakfast buffet at all. I understand this restaurant doesn’t normally do breakfast, but I felt like for $15 per adult the food should’ve been slightly better. The eggs were undercooked and the biscuits were not good at all. I weighed in on the fact that we did get to take photos with Santa for free so that was the silver lining on the mediocre (at best) food we ate. Also the service was phenomenal so that was also a huge plus.
food wasn't its best had to send several plates back
I would recommend for a kid party. We took 3 14 year old boys. Choose burgers/salads/sandwich and you should be fine. Not a foodie type restaurant.
Service was awful! It was slow inside the restaurant, there were 2 tables besides us in the there. Service was slow and rude. Our food came out either cold or burnt. My drink, bahama mama, tasted like rubbing alcohol! It was just all around a terrible experience.
We have been to over 20 different Margaritavilles all over the country and this one was the absolute worse. They were serving 14 oz beer in 12oZ cups and 20oz in 16oz plastic cups because their glasses were dirty. When we told them they just laughed The apps took over an hour to come out and were burnt. The food took another 30 minutes after that and several of the seven of us had cold and uneidable dinners. We will never go back to this location. It was not busy at all just very mismanaged! The Landshark bar and grill was even out of Landshark! It was a total mess from start to finish! Don’t go!
