It’s my second time here and I will definitely come back again. Love the food and ambiance.
Had the same waiter and he’s amazing! I wish I got his name but he’s one of the few male waiters.
A friend of mine recommended this spot for brunch. So I decided to have my best friend bday brunch here. We were a party of 8. The restaurant sat us in two tables. We asked the waitress is it still brunch because we arrived at 230 she said yes and took our drink orders. Took 10/15 mins for our drinks..we all were deciding on what we all wanted to order. When she finally came back to take our orders brunch was over. She never mentioned we had a certain amount of time to order or put our food order in. So we all had to just grab burgers which was rang in wrong. Overall the place was cute but the service was bad not to mention there isn’t hardly anyone there. I will be back for brunch I just hope the server will mention the time restraints for brunch.
Fabulous, friendly service with an elevated bar food menu and excellent cocktails. The patio is perfect for outdoor dining, and the decor is detailed and lovely. Great music, great ambiance, reasonably priced.
Food was alright. Nothing special.
This boutique hotel opened during the pandemic. My wife and I prayed that they would survive. We got around to checking out the restaurant and it was wonderful. Parking is super easy and food is reasonably priced. We're definitely coming back again.
Had a fabulous time at this hidden gem in silver lake. Definitely a spot for a date that he/she will remember
The patio is beautiful and romantic. We had the lemon pasta with whitefish. It was delicious but the portion was very small and the fish quantity was also wanting.
such friendly and (dog friendly!) service. delicious food, very accommodating.
Our daughter had a successful heart surgery ❤️
My husband and I had lunch at Marco Polo on Halloween Saturday during COVID-19. The restaurant has a good laid back ambiance notable for the Silverlake neighborhood. The food and service were great. We had the baked clams as an app and the steak and potatoes for our main dishes. The prices were reasonable and the food was great. The restaurant is also following proper cleaning protocols during the pandemic. We will definitely be back.
Perfectly lit, covid safe outdoor dinner experience. I get cold easily but the patio was well sheltered and had heaters available. The atmosphere is perfect for a date or dinner with friends. We shared the dried and salted board, a pasta, and had two cocktails and wine. The board was great for sharing between 2-4 people, and the pasta was a perfect European pasta course size. The service was very attentive and friendly, and I can’t believe I haven’t gone sooner. The wine list is thoughtful, and you are able to sample your choice.
The food was amazing . The drinks OMg were out of this world. Romantic place.
great little new gem! highly recommend this place!
Lovely staff, the food was excellent, the ambiance is beautiful!
Great dining gem and an ideal spot for catching up with friends. Tasty Martini's and delicious cucumber salad and Marco Polo burgers!
Incredible experience!!! The ambiance, the service, the food- all 5 stars! I had the linguine & my husband had the burger & we both LOVED it & ate the entire thing. The olive oil cake was no joke the best dessert we’ve ever had!! Still dreaming about it. New favorite neighborhood spot - can’t wait to go back!!
Such a cute little hideaway in the middle of Silverlake! Great happy hour options and the normal menu is solid too. Will definitely return!
Cozy spot for working on a laptop, for an afternoon drink, or for a date.
Perfect from beginning to end.
we had a lunch and just one another table show up... not so busy...
From the moment we pulled up at the door I felt like I was transported to Cabo San Lucas or somewhere special in tropical Mexico. The architecture and design are truly phenomenal and of world class caliber. The music. Fabulous and transportive. The food is explosively healthy and delicious. The staff and Lisa the F n B manager are so accommodating and friendly that we are going back tomorrow. Congratulations on creating a must experience Angeleno happening place. Love, love and more love.
Great date night spot
Next time I’ll order low salt
Great service, cute vibe, average food. I would come back for drinks and snacks vs. for dinner.
It was an anniversary lunch. We wanted to try a new place and we stumbled upon this restaurant. It was a quaint little restaurant, so inviting ~ simply awesome with perfect atmosphere. The waitress was so friendly and efficient. The food was delicious. We will definitely be returning.
Lovely outdoor spot to dine amidst Covid regulations... serene -- a quiet small oasis in the midst of urban craziness.
Wonderful dinner at this hidden Silverlake gem. Food was delicious and the staff was welcoming and worked well together as a team to ensure that we had a great experience. Lisa was wonderful and welcoming. We will definitely be back!
Have passed by this place many times and when it popped up on my OpenTable, said to myself it's time to check it out. Food, drinks, ambiance was amazing. A must go! Only issue is finding street parking but a little walk never hurt anyone : )
The setting is great, with a cool European feel - good Aperol Spritz and a nice small menu, but the food was pretty average
We decided to go to Marco Polo for a girls day. The hostess and servers were very nice and accommodating! We ordered the ginger beer, and Marco Polo spritzer. Very refreshing mature drink, it was our first time having it! For appetizers we got the almonds, olives, and raw oysters. Even though it was only the 2 of us, the portion of olives was enough for 4 people I think! The oysters were very fresh! For entree we ordered the steak. It was cooked perfectly and the marinade was delicious! Would definitely recommend! Lastly, the olive oil cake for dessert. It was topped with candied orange peels and roasted rosemary. So rich and the flavors were great. Again, probably enough for 3-4 people. I would definitely come back to Marco Polo. We’re very glad we tried it.
Unique atmosphere. Excellent food. I had the chicken and it was moist, flavorful and aromatic. Cool vibe without being pretentious. Ok sort of pretentious but that's sort of what I was going for. Perfect lighting. Service was pretty good considering it's a newer restaurant in the age of Covid. Very friendly staff and manager. Who woiuld ever think an ultra chic venue would be on this little hidden-away (almost residential) neighborhood. We're definitely going back!
Overall an excellent experience: great food, ambience, and five star service. Will def return and recommend it to friends
Amazing evening and Lisa the General Manager and Staff A+. The atmosphere A+....food and cocktails also A+!
Terrible attitude from the servers made the meal unpleasant. I never rate places this low honestly
Gracious outdoor dining with creative versions of California and Mediterranean cuisine. A beautiful space in an unexpected location, transforms the neighborhood. Wonderful service from friendly folks!
Unfortunately our main waitress was lackluster and unfriendly throughout service. I am not one to complain but in such a small, intimate setting you would expect some level of professionalism - maybe she was just having a bad day, we all get them!
However, someone who we assume to be the restaurant manager saved the day. She occasionally stopped by the table and was super upbeat, helpful and positive. Made up for the overall experience.
Amazing. Great food and service.
The food was terrible and the drink selections were only offering 4 cocktails and the one we got tasted like a rubber tire. The price for the food was ridiculous because we didn’t eat anything.
great service and excellent ambience, my only complaint is that the menu is too limited..
It was my friend’s birthday and Marco Polo’s pleasantly soft ambiance with their white marble and umbrellas, delicious food and drinks, and great service-we got phenomenal Katie-really made the night for us. Thank you Marco Polo! :)
