Great food and outstanding service!
Marche aux Fleurs is simply the best restaurant in Marin period. Fabulous food, service and ambiance!
The highlight of our evening was dining outside in the patio area while enjoying a lovely well-priced bottle of wine. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. While our server was pleasant, the food service was rushed. The salad we shared was good but the entrees were brought to the table before we had finished the salad course. Our entrees were also disappointing. Specifically, the duck confit was dry and tasteless and the halibut was under-seasoned and the accompanying greens were overcooked and lacked flavor. Both entrees were overpriced for the quality of the food and preparation.
Fantastic food (the paccheri fennel ragu was amazing), lovely people, beautiful outdoor dining area. Can't wait to go back.
Love Marche! The food is delicious and service is friendly.
Fresh delicious, french style bistro, interesting space, bake their own bread, a real find in Marin
I thought the food quality wasn't very good. All our dishes were overcooked. For the price , I expected much better food. First experience where we could get more bread and butter!
MaryAnn is the best server ever, the food is dependable and delicious and the ambience is that of a neighborhood restaurant with a country-garden feel. Love it there!
Brought a friend here from out of town. He couldn’t get over how good the gnocchi was
He does quite a bit of cooking at home and can’t wait to try and recreate. Good luck !
Great evening on the patio !
When we checked in, the reception was cool, very surprising. The server was lovely, it made up for the greeting by the woman and man at the entry.
Probably won’t return because of that
Erratic cuisine despite excellent conception. Chef's execution just at a B level.
A lovely place. For good true French cuisine, despite the name, I prefer The Left Bank and despite a very limited menu and a pedestrian ambiance, the quality of cooking at Amelie is superior.
Very pleasant outdoor dinning.
Simply the most delightful setting with the most delicious food, I have only had exceptional food at this restaurant. The quality of their ingredients stands alone and superior to most, it continues to be a favorite!
Absolutely lovely experience. From the delicious meal to the lovely atmosphere to the knowledgeable service, it was a great evening.
I have never eaten better friend chicken or corn bread in my life! My husband had it and I kept poaching bites!
Terrific ambiance with limited menu. Farm to table food Terrific gonchi
fantastic local gem - enjoyed a great dinner as always
Welcome back, Marche Aux Fleur! It was wonderful to be back in your delicious restaurant. The only disappointment was the wine by the glass in "cans" concept. We tried 3 wines and they were all Terrible. Bitter, puckery and undrinkable. Thank heavens you still had wines by the bottle to save our dinner.
Great food, great place, great service. Table near us was a bit loud for such an intimate space, but it was all good.
We have been waiting to eat here for a long time and it was really great. Our server was wonderful.
I am nitpicking here but the service was marred by the fact that we got our entrees about 2 minutes after our first course salads were delivered. Our server apologized but had no solutions for this. It is a small restaurant so they weren't going to suggest returning the entrees. My husband asked if they could keep the plates warm to let us finish our salads and they couldn't do that so he suggested they bring us plates to turn upside down to keep the entrees warm. They obliged and got the plates which did keep the food warm while we finished our salads but I hated the fact that 1. it was an imposition and disruption to the service, 2. that we might have been seen as fussy simply because we wanted hot food and 3. we really didn't want cause a fuss we just wanted to have a nice evening out with our friends who hadn't been to a restaurant in over a year because of Covid.
You would think we didn't enjoy this place but actually we did. The outdoor garden is charming, the food was delicious, the wine list is so inventive, there servers were gracious as was the owner. And we will definitely come back again and maybe just ask them to fire our entrees after they take our salad plates. We can always linger over a glass of something from their delicious wine list.
Excellent locally sourced ingredients served in very large portions. My salad was enough for an entree. We took hone 1/2 of the pasta entree. I don't understand the preference for wine in cans ( for a single glass) and only 1/2 bottles. The steak was perfectly cooked and the anchovy appetizer nicely prepared. This is a lovely location. Something could be done to improve the general appearance of the patio landscaping to make it more attractive. The service was very good and certainly the daily specials are reasonably priced.
Marche never disappoints! The food is delish and the ambience is always lovely.
For a restaurant the serves good high end cuisine- it was ruined by a waiter that pushed hard to turn our table. It literally started when we sat down. And it wasn’t just pushing to order fast - we were told that if we didn’t order quickly we wouldn’t have time to enjoy our meals. Never experienced anything like it. I don’t think we will be going back.
Too bad they don't take dogs outside! Not a French restaurant.
Excellent food, service, and ambiance. Great date night location, patio is perfect.
Lovely patio dining and indulgent food.
I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to dine here. Not only do they use high quality ingredients in each dish in the most real and organic way possible but they also treat you to a service that is unlike any I've experienced. Each staff member is intuitive to a heartfelt degree. The small details add up to a large feeling of joy that really emanates from Marche Aux Fleurs. I couldn't help but to give thanks to the owner as I floated out the door and to write this review which is a first for me. I'm excited to go again soon and with a friend who enjoys sharing so we can tour the incredible menu with eyes much bigger than our stomachs.
Great to be back to in person dining at our favorite upscale eatery in Marin. Holly and Dan provide a wonderful combination of local/seasonal fare. Always delicious!
Too bad the Tuesday Special (Fried chicken) was already sold out but what we order instead was amazing too. We'll come back!
Every single bite was delicious! Highlights were the white corn-summer squash soup and the house-made gnocchi. And although the setting and ambiance is fairly casual the quality of the service and the cooking makes this a worth special occasion kind of place.
Nice place. Colloquial. Food is good and plentiful.
Lovely, consistent place... its always a great to go there.
This has become one of our favorite restaurants. We like the people, the menu, the location, etc.
Wonderful Menu, delicious Duck Confit, service was pleasant & informative & my favorite was the Flourless Gateau au Chocolat. Great wine menu. Merci!
Wonderful meal. Gnocchi was spectacular!
Best restaurant in Marin if you like farm fresh food and French, Italian and California inspired cuisine.
We have always had great meals at Marche aux Fleurs. This past Saturday was a bit of a disappointment. We are hopeful that this was an aberration.
Very good but too hot inside the restaurant.
Lovely location. The food was good, not great. Wine is served in half bottles and cans and no coffee can be served (due to Covid restrictions)
