   The food was outstanding, and we loved the atmosphere. We had a good server; however, they were very busy and could have used more servers. As the restaurant started filling up, it got very loud.

   Marcello's is a must every time we visit the Covington area. The ambiance is cozy. The food is always spectacular. The Service is always spot on. Nice selection of wine to choose from. We have never had a bad experience here. Highly recommend it. And, to anyone wondering if you should go...Yes, You Should.

    We had an eight people group of friends gathering to celebrate Valentine’s and up coming Maui trip. We had a private room and the noise level was almost none. Food was superb as usual. Will was our server and he was super nice and attentive. We had a great time!

    Terrible Experience. Bottom line, there are other italian restaurants in the area so I recommend you NOT choose Marcello's. We waited almost an hour after we placed our entree order to receive our food. I repeatedly ask our server what was going on with the answer - we are short staffed in the kitchen. The owner finally delivered our meals with an apology. Her explanation was the kitchen was short staffed and when I pressed her, she stated that she had tried to help the chef in the kitchen but he gave her the evil eye so she backed off. Really!! The owner backed off. She offered to have our meal boxed to go. Really!! Boxed to go when we expected to eat in the dining room. After talking about the situation, we decided to leave as the owner stated there would be no charge for the dinner. When we go up to leave I asked the bartender where I could see the owner. His answer was "she's gone". What ??? The owner left the restaurant while there were customers not happy. Find another restaurant.

    Food was great, except for the angel hair pasta, to me it smelled like it was cooked in fish water. Very loud for some reason, you will not be able to have a normal conversation. Very pricy if you order wine. Service was great though.

    We LOVE it here! The wine selection is great and you get to “shop” their wine wall for your bottle. Such a fun experience! All of the pastas are excellent (the linguine tritone is a must). We always come back!
