On whole it didn't quite meet the rave reviews I've read here. Too loud. Caprese salad was all cheese, and too salty. The bread plate was excellent. The ciabatta bread offered to all the tables, is dry and not very good. Four slices. We didn't eat it all. The entrees were ample and excellent. The dessert, a Tiramisu, was good, not great.

We love their Fried Calamari & Classic Beef Lasagna & Tiramisu. Offers large portion sizes, relatively low prices, and friendly staff. Chicken Carbonara was ok but not highly recommended. One downside is the location (homeless folks around, it does not feel very safe) and the strange/ammonia-like odor at the entrance.

Had 2pm reservations on Mothers Day, seated promptly and our server was outstanding. Appetizer was delicious. Our meals were great and had to take some home. Have driven by here hundreds of times and so glad we came here.

We made reservations for a party of 8 for a Sunday lunch. When we arrived, the table was ready with water glasses already filled. The staff was amazing, so friendly! We had multiple appetizers which were all over-the-top delicious. The homemade mozzarella is a must! Our entrees were spectacular. Special shout out to the kids Mac. (The adults stole it). The gnocchi and chicken piccata also get honorable mentions. We ordered coffee and a couple of desserts to share….no words to describe how good they were. Definitely try the amaretto cheesecake. The ambiance was beautiful, bright, and fun with just the right amount of elegance. We felt appreciated and comfortable. The attention to detail was top notch from the decor to the way they plated and finished off all their food. This is not an Olive Garden experience, it’s so much more! We will definitely put this on our list of regular stops. If you haven’t been here, you really are doing a disservice to your Italian tastebuds!

Mama Mia Trattoria was a really good. Our group was visiting Portland for Dental Conference and I needed a spot that would be nice for the staff to go out. Mama Mia Trattoria did not disappoint. If you love Italian food this is a must. Its location is close to the tram, but you get off in a yucky neighborhood. DO NOT LET THAT STOP YOU. Amazing food and atmosphere.

Had a lovely window seat after a show at the Keller. Had a delicious espresso martini to start. And I had their special for the day ravioli and my partner had spaghetti and meatballs. We ended our meals with spumoni ice cream. The food, service and atmosphere were all very good!

The food was fantastic, first off. Attention of the wait staff was great, did not feel rushed or forgotten, HUGE plus in this industry!!! Had the Chicken Marsala and it was delicious! Drink portions were ample and worth the price! I would recommend this place to an "out of towner".

We have gone to this restaurant several times for our Anniversary dinner (this being our 43rd!) and they never disappoint. Service was excellent, I stepped it up a bit and ordered an Amerone, had the veal picatta (perfectly lemony and tender) and my wife had the Cioppino (deliciously spicy) with the seafoods added at different times so none were overcooked. And the desserts! I had the tiramisu (light and flavorful) and my wife had the Affogato and it was delicious. The coffee was hot and delicious.

To think I've lived in oregon all my life and never once came to this restaurant. The inside really made me feel like i was in a Italian restaurant. The music was quiet nice as well, made it feel more relaxed. The alcohol is definitely better than most and the food…worth every penny.

The sever was mad my husband and brother in law went to order drinks at the bar, it went down hill from there.. she took a long time to come back to our table. It was not very busy, the food came out very cold at that point it was even worth eating!

We were greeted as soon we walked into the restaurant. The hostess/waitress did a great job in getting us seated within a few minutes of walking in. Once seated we waited a few minutes to place our order. The drinks and food came out soon after that and it tasted great. Waitress kept checking in on us every few minutes and remembered that we were there to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and made sure she got her free dessert. We were extremely satisfied with the service and will definitely be going back.

We were lucky to score a last min reservation for v-day. We had never been here but were impressed! Satisfied with food and service was A1. Waitress was amazing, checked on us the perfect amount, made sure water was never empty, and was super bubbly and kind. Food was 10/10. We got the garlic bread (duh), fried zucchini (the 2 sauces that came with these were amazing we dipped our bread in it as well), spaghetti with vegan meatballs, Alfredo fettuccine, Ceasar salad, strawberry cheesecake and the browkie. Everything was so flavorful, so fresh tasting, so delicious. I know everything we got was so basic but they’re classics. We’re definitely going back.
