    Great selection of tequila. Unfortunately prices were exorbitant - $100 for a 2oz pour of top shelf. Menu wasn’t up to date with new stock so you’ll have to ask. Bartender didn’t seem to know which tequilas were which. Food was great and I really enjoyed the ceviche. But would probably just do a cerveza and appetizers if I ever come back.

    Ate here for Valentines Day. The food and service were outstanding and generally the ambiance is very nice. My only complaint is that the tables are SO close together that it can be hard to feel like you’re having an intimate meal with someone and have to compete with conversations happening at neighboring tables.

    This was our second visit to Mama Lolita's. Great, local restaurant. Our waiter was friendly and provided helpful recommendations. We shared the skirt steak - plenty of food for 2 people & So Good!

    Not at all impressed this time. After i recommended this place went there for dinner. Ordered tacos which terrible. Guacomole was not tasty. Service was mediocre. You dont make snarky comments at customers. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this place anymore.

    We had a reservation at 5:30 and they were not prepared for us. Even though another table was open then made us wait 20 min. Then once we sat they didn’t take our order for another 15 min. Normally I wouldn’t be worried but we had reservations for an activity and ended up being late. I think if you make a reservation they should put you first.

    For the ambience and menu prices, I expected better food and service. The $15 house margarita was the worst I have ever had and I couldn't finish it. It was served in a small glass and reminded me of an airplane drink. The guacamole was too salty and the tacos were just ok. They were small, basic and over-priced. The best thing we ordered was the queso dip. They seemed under-staffed for a Friday night. Wait times were longer than expected. It was loud and the waiter spoke quietly. Staff was friendly.     We had a party of 13 for a Christmas party. I cannot rave enough about this restaurant! Although they were busy, we received excellent service. Our waitress was attentive, friendly and cool under pressure. Food was delicious. We all had an amazing time. Five stars!!!!

    This was our 2nd visit to Mama Lolita's. The first visit was fabulous - the food was so flavorful and delicious. Our 2nd visit was nearly as good, but this time around the food was only lukewarm and our skirt steak was slightly undercooked - we ordered medium and it was definitely more on the medium rare side. We didn't send it back or mention it to anyone, however, and we did eat all of it. Still delicious and it wouldn't keep us from visiting again. The manager (tall gentleman with gray hair) is very friendly and accommodating to all guests, as we have encountered him on both of our visits there. My husband ordered an Old Fashioned both visits and commented on how delicious they were, too! Highly recommend this restaurant!

    Service was outstanding. We had a server in training and his knowledge, attentiveness, personability was outstanding. The owner came and talked to us about tequilas and that was fun! Food was attractive, varied, well-flavored and fairly priced. The environment of the restaurant was bright, with a wide open view of the street lights, very pretty.     Food was terrible, everything from the chips to tortillas were store bought. The guacamole was old and looked brown. The queso fundido cheese smelt old and was extremely oily so cheap cheese nothing amazing about this new restaurant. Would not recommend!

    While they seated our party of 8 immediately, we had to wait 20 minutes for water and menus. Then we waited another 20 for someone to take our food and drink order. Drinks were expensive and the food selection OK. Our appetizers and main meals came out together. While everyone enjoyed their food, it wasn’t anything special. Service was extremely slow, but our server was kind. While I know we were a party of 8, they automatically added the tip, not unusual, but the amount not worthy of the service.

    Not bad at all for a new restaurant. Margs are pricey. They goofed up our order but took responsibility and made the adjustment on the bill. Food is delicious and portions are more than fair. We will definitely try ML again.

    The food was ok but the drinks were ridiculously priced and they were very small, then after all the ice there was very little room for any liquid. We then asked for less ice on the next one to see it might improve it. So the next one came out with less ice but the small glass was only half full of liquid. I get that they’re not going to add more alcohol (although it needed that in the first place) but thought we might get more mix, but nope.

    "Hit or Miss" is how I would describe our recent dining experience at Mama Lolita's. The first time we dined there it was a "Hit", which is why we decided to return for a second time. Last night's experience was a definite "Miss". We waited almost 20 minutes for a glass of wine and a margarita. The restaurant wasn't crowded but the waitstaff seemed overwhelmed from the get-go. We ordered dinner and waited another 30 minutes for a salsa+guac sampler with chips. But that wasn't the worst of it. Along with the sampler came our appetizer and salad - too much food at once for our tiny table of two. Unfortunately, the next thing I knew the Caesar salad was on my lap, my dress, my sweater, and the bench seat. The waitress who delivered it to our table said the bottom of the plate was slippery. Many apologies later from the waitress and chef/owner (which I appreciated) I was told the Caesar salad that they would remake for me was on the house. (I should hope so.) But unfortunately a $14 comp doesn't cover the dry cleaning bill for my dress and sweater. I wasn't in the mood to make a fuss and since I believe in supporting small businesses, I decided to try and enjoy the meal. The hamachi crudo was delicious and I enjoyed eating versus wearing the Caesar salad. The chef/owner came by our table again and asked if we needed anything so we asked for more tortilla chips for our remaining salsa. The chips never came. Eventually, we got our two tacos - they were small but tasty. We both left wishing they were more substantial; the piece of snapper in my taco was barely a bite. The low point of the meal were our two sides - the black beans were excessively salty (and I like my salt so that's saying something) and the grilled Mexican corn on the cob was flavorful but very mushy. When the final course was delivered I ordered another glass of wine, which despite our best attempts to get anyone's attention, never came. All in all, a disappointing and unfortunate dining experience.
