We're throwing a party for Gluten-Free goodness! Welcome to our French/American haven where we whip up top-notch, scratch-made Gluten-Free delights daily in our 100% gluten-free-exclusive kitchen. Our ovens are buzzing with fresh bread and pastries every day. Buckle up your taste buds and embark on a journey to a slice of France in Irvine, CA! Dive into our traditional French Onion Soup, made-to-order Omelettes, or our Biscuit Brisket Benedict (served only on Sundays). We're just a hop, skip, and a jump from John Wayne Airport. The food and service are wonderful! I definitely recommend the fried chicken and the steak! The wines on the menu are also a treat!

This place is an amazing gem! Love the atmosphere and the food is out of this world! The biscuits and cinnamon rolls are the best I’ve ever had!

Lovely setting despite being in an office park. The decor is pretty and airy. Service was great and accommodating. If we didn’t know, it was a gluten-free restaurant, we would not have guessed. Although, some of the food could have been warmer and the waffles a bit crisper. The coffee was excellent!

Great food and so wonderful being able to order anything from the menu knowing it’s gluten free. My husband who is not gluten free loved it too! The ambience is charming- felt like I was at a French cafe. And they now are open for dinner 3 nights a week! So yummy! Service was also excellent.

We love Maldon’s Bistro, especially the pastries and tartines. We were really excited to try its new dinner menu, especially dessert! Dinner was great. Our table was super wobbly, so the server quickly moved us. Dinner was lovely - fried chicken that you’d never guess was gluten free and gnocchi that was more like dumplings but still tasty. The dessert was one of the worst I’ve had, though. As someone who can’t eat gluten, I was so looking forward to eating something I can’t usually have. The dessert menu had only three items: creme brûlée and sorbet (both of which are easy to get gluten free almost anywhere) and a slice of seasonal cake. We ordered the cake. The lemon cake came in two mashed up balls. No fluffiness, very dense and stodgy. It tasted like an undercooked, failed layer cake repurposed into a new form. We didn’t come close to finishing it. We love Maldon’s and will definitely be back, but I’d love for them to lean into the gluten free specialty items those of us who can’t eat gluten miss and love and long for. More sourdough! Cream puffs for dessert! Tarts and cakes! I could eat the fried chicken all day. I’d love more opportunities to add a slice of sourdough to salads or a biscuit to an entree. And please do away with those cake ball disasters. The restaurant has only been serving dinner for two weeks, so I know they are still finding their stride. But many of us come to Maldon’s for the gluten free options, and I’d love for them to really shine. No one makes gf bread and pastries like Maldon’s!

Very nice spot in Irvine. We went for dinner and were served by very attentive and friendly staff. Big nod to the gluten-free menu! Great food and ambience. Definitely recommend and we will certainly return!

Such a beautiful & special restaurant! Our 9 year old son has celiac, and to be able to tell him he can order ANYTHING from the menu was such a gift! The cutest decor and table settings, makes you feel like you’re in a French cafe! Great service. We are from CA, but moved to TX 4 years ago. So glad to add this place to our “regular” list every time we come back home to visit family!

Had an amazing experience, even with it being super busy for Mother's day our food was perfect and the wait staff delightful. Not to me to mention is was amazing knowing everything on the menu was gluten free and for once my husband and i could have bites of each others food.
