Southeast Asian
Malaya focuses on the various flavors within the Southeast Asian subcontinent. Our culinary style showcases the diverse and complex cultural influences which have molded Malaysia throughout its history. The term “Malaya” loosely describes a set of states on the Malay Peninsula and the island of Singapore that were brought under British control between the 18th and 20th centuries. As a result of historical migrations, colonization by foreign powers, and its geographic position, Malaysia’s culinary style in the present day is primarily a melange of traditions from its Malay, Chinese, Indian, and ethnic Bornean citizens, with heavy to light influences from Thai, Portuguese, Dutch, Arabian, and British cuisines. We welcome you to experience this symphony of flavors today!

Unique and delicious meal. Has inspired us to take a trip to the Malay peninsula. If you like exotic cuisine go bold with the spicy sour fish and the fried rice with eggs and anchovies (sorry blanking on the names). Also the tequila colada is a wonderful cocktail.

Restaurant is still new and needs to sort out its menu and logistics. We ordered satays, chicken curry, beef rendang and chili crab. All the meats including the meat in the curry and beef rendang were overcooked, particularly the satays. We told the waiter about the satays, and the manager was gracious enough to delete that from our bill. The curry itself and the sauce in the beef rendang were very good.

The chili crab was flavorful, but the crab was not cracked and cut into manageable pieces. We had to ask for the crab to be cut, and ask for crab crackers. Service in general was very attentive.

I would wait a couple more months if I'm going to try this restaurant again.

The food and atmosphere were great...the service was too, just don't be in any sort of hurry if you go because it takes a bit...it's worth it though!

The food was mediocre at best. Prices were high. Service was slow, although my server was very polite. Restaurant is new and nicely decorate. Cocktail was good.
