    Always great to have a nice relaxing brunch oceanfront at Mala Ocean Tavern. Delicious burger, omelet and Fish & Chips. Great server in Kate. Enjoyed our pre-Father's day brunch.

    If I had know there a an issue with a party of 6 sitting on the deck, I wouldn’t have made the reservation. Sitting on the deck was the reason for coming to the restaurant. In addition, I had to ask for a kid’s menu and then again, for crayons, when we clearly had a little one with us. The hostess was a bit scattered. The waiter was great.

    Mala restored my faith in the Maui food scene. The food, the setting, the atmosphere, the service were all 17/10. We would absolutely come back here!

    One of the best restaurants I have ever been too! It’s a shame we discovered it on our last day. One suggestion, stop calling the ice cream dessert a donut, it’s killing the wait staff. Lol

    We enjoyed our dinner very much. Great view and Carlos our waiter was amazing. Water glasses never empty, the four of us each got a different meal and we loved them all!

    Food not worth the money. Reserved patio but for some reason the hostess refused to sit us out there even though there were available tables. I felt the waiter was rushing us out. We received the bill the same time desert was delivered. Didn’t even ask if we wanted anything else. There are so many better options with better ambience that’s worth the money.
