MAKER'S COMMON is a market and eatery in downtown Berkeley. Such an amazing space that was created by caring and generous individuals. The fried chicken was amazing! Will definitely come back time and time again.

Food took a while to come out but overall everything was tasty. Service was lackluster and spotty. I would come back for their charcuterie and cheese plates.

We came here for restaurant week and was disappointed that the restaurant week menu was same or slightly more expensive than the regular menu (if ordered separately). Food was okay but some things are not great. The veggies that came with the fried chicken dish was extremely bitter. Our server forgot one thing (out of four) that we ordered.

Delicious fried chicken and cassoulet. Casual vibe, but serious about the food. Very friendly staff from the front of the house to the folks in the kitchen where we could see our dishes being prepared. We are definitely going back.

This is such a beautiful space and I had high hopes for lunch after reviewing the menu. Sadly the food was incredibly bland and expensive. I had the fried chicken sandwich which really didn't taste like anything and the chicken was very dry. It came with a wilted and overdressed salad that seemed less than fresh. My friend ordered a salad that was also tasteless. Neither of us finished our meals and left soon after as the noise level was really high.

Amazing food, kind of awkward service but perhaps just growing pains? Beautiful space, sat on the sunny patio. Food was immaculate, so good. Will be back again and again.
