    Host absolutely needs to get their ego in check. Am a very frequent diner here along with my entire company. Had us wait 30 minutes for our RESERVATION. Incredibly frustrating. I will give them the benefit of the doubt because I have never seen this hostess before but absolutely horrible experience with a client

    Everything at Major Tom was superb! It's a beautiful restaurant with 40th floor views of downtown Calgary. The food is expertly prepared with the best ingredients. For us, the service surpassed every aspect with our terrific server, Kelsey! Kelsey was the perfect server: keeping track of all our needs without intruding. She is friendly and charming and enhanced our entire experience.

    We had an outstanding meal, featuring the duck and Alberta steak—both cooked to absolute perfection. The fries, seasoned with a flavorful peppercorn salt, stood out as some of the best we've ever had. Service was equally impressive. Our server, Seth S., was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful, guiding us through excellent choices for drinks, entrees, and dessert. His recommendations were spot on and contributed significantly to a truly memorable evening.

    We were there to celebrate a birthday. Our server was not friendly and seemed more annoyed when we asked questions . One in our party is diabetic and needed something as soon as we sat down- she laughed. I felt that if we had a better server our experience would’ve been different. The food was decent but honestly, nothing that would make us go back. Some in our party had steak, pasta and Cod. So we felt we had enough different items that we tried. We did have a few cocktails and they were delicious. We could also see staff arguing with one another- for the price - there are way better options to spend your money.

    My lady and I came back here again on Friday night. David was our server this time and he was outstanding! Super great guy and very personable. He even moved us to a different table later in the evening, where we got to watch the stampede fireworks at night! He gave us the best view in the whole restaurant, and we couldn't have asked for a better night out coming back to Major Tom. Kudos to the staff in the kitchen as well... the food was amazing (as per usual).

    We sat at the bar with Barry serving us and had a fabulous time. He's truly a professional bartender and server and was great to spend time with at MT's. 10/10 service. Cheers.
