Maize is a New American BYOB located in Perkasie’s business district in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
Currently we are offering a 3-course tasting menu that changes daily based on what is seasonally available. We have two seatings: 5:30 and 7:30.
Everything is made in-house from scratch, using the best local produce, Pennsylvania raised meats and wild fish and shellfish from the North Atlantic.
We welcome you to Maize with a bowl of freshly popped popcorn with extra virgin olive oil, fresh parsley and chives, salt and pepper. Shortly after you will receive our biscuits with local honey and butter. We will then move onto a tasting menu that comprises some of your favorites of the past decade, as well as some soon to be favorites. And as always, we will finish dinner with our warm chocolate chip cookies.
Bring a couple of your favorite bottles of wine, relax with your guest(s), and allow us to take care of you.

Can’t remember when I’ve had a better or more memorable meal!
We had the 8 course meal and it was fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious.
The food was delicious and plated beautifully. But the cost is a little high. Everything is made from scratch but the portions are on the small side. Outstanding for a special get together or occasion. Only the tasting menu is available now but its food that you would only experience at Maize.
Maize is by far our favorite restaurant in the area! The food is fresh and inventive and you can taste the love and passion in every bite. We love not having to decide and let the chef work his magic. Also love that every time we visit there is always something different to taste. We can’t wait to come back! Would give 100 stars if we could!
We all thought that the food and the service was excellent. I personally thought that the room was too bright to be cozy. Also the wooden chairs were really uncomfortable.
Excellent restaurant, never disappoints. Had 3-course tasting menu, which (that night) featured salmon tartar, duck breast and an amazing cold cantaloupe soup with creme fraiche for dessert. Chef-owner changes menu daily. BYOB.
Great food and friendly service: we enjoyed our dinner at Maize.
Not kidding when they say relaxed dining. Food was fantastic. I ate dishes that I normally would not eat and I am glad that I did. Great new experience. Lots of different flavors that all worked together. Chef Matt and team were awesome. Thanks a lot MJ. Appreciate you explaining all the dishes. We had a great time and looking forward to coming back soon.
Exquisite and interesting food. Every course had wonderful, complex favors and beautiful plating. Attentive, professional service.
Such a treat to find such terrific food in a setting that is so comfortable- not even a hint of pretense. Can’t wait to go back ❤️
It was Phenomenal !!!! Best place around.
You asked about food allergies etc. But never thought about how a guest may be sensitive to eating a pigs cheek. So an alternative can be requested.
Perhaps the waitress should let guests know in advance what is on the menu other than a fish and a meat.
Delicious food. Perhaps a printed card at each table to let us know the courses that evening would be most helpful
Awesome food. Maize never disappoints. Food is always good from the first course to ending with a chocolate chip cookie. Can’t wait to go back in the Fall!!
The 3 course meal was fabulous. I love that ingredients are locally sourced and always fresh. The chefs creations are amazing. My favorite restaurant in this area!!
Great 3-course experience. Are on the rear patio. Nice ambiance.
It was a nice quaint restaurant with a rather fancy open-air ambience to It. I enjoyed the fresh food and the care behind the three course meals. I also liked the attention to detail for customers with any food allergies as other customers that had certain dairy or gluten problems, had their dishes catered to them.
Great meal at Maize. 3 courses plus extras. Plates were generous, favors very fresh and interesting. Day Fluke was outstanding. Braised ribs nearly melted in the month (how is that even possible?). Very fun extras. Reasonably priced. Bring an appetite, allergies accepted and carefully accommodated. Will definitely be back.
We had the best dinner and service you could ask for; the food was delicious!
It was such a wonderful experience.
Best food ever!
Somehow the staff even brought the sun out during the thunderstorm warning. Excellent night
Amazing dining experience in a quaint small town. Service was impeccable and chefs farm to table tasting menu was exquisite. We have already booked it again!
As usual, Matt and his crew did a wonderful job! The food and service were great.
Always a great experience
Everytime we have dinner at the Maize we are impressed! It's not cheap but it is always excellent!
Love the open kitchen and chief courses. Only said value wasn’t as good as expected because husband left still hungry.
Maize remains the best dining experience in Bucks County. With the addition of a beautifully landscaped terrace, the experience is even better than before. Sit down and let Matt McPhelan treat you to his imaginative, market-driven cuisine. The dining experience is designed to be relaxed, so bring a good bottle of wine and settle in.
It was my first experience at Maize and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The set 3 course meal allows you to sit back, relax and enjoy! The presentation of the food was beautiful and the taste was so delicious. The cook on the protein just melted in your mouth and all the flavors on the plate blended so nicely. Will definitely be going back to see what other delicious meals the chef can create.
Amazing and quaint experience. The food was incredible. The service also great. My only regret is that I didn’t have a second reservation planned right away!
Delicious food - wonderful atmosphere. Can’t wait to come again. Everything was to die for!
A bit of a leap of faith with just the single food choice. The food was good, but for $65 per person I thought the portion size was a little small. It is a BYOB so the price is just for diner. Also thought it was odd water was the only beverage offered. We brought wine and beer, but no tea or coffee offered with the desert.
Prix fixe menu was amazing; for an exceptional experience, slow dining, with savory food, highly recommend this gem. Delicious courses, served well, with a lovely experience all around.
I love that we have such an eclectic and hip restaurant in this town!
The best restaurant in Bucks County just keeps getting better. Outstanding food, gracious service, attention to guest (and staff) safety.
Exquisite food, wonderful staff from server to chefs.
Great food, great staff, no rush atmosphere leads to an enjoyable experience!
Always a great meal. Matt is a fantastic food artist.
Very good farm to table restaurant...friendly staff, good atmosphere and amazing food!
Excellent experience. Our first time there. The food was outstanding and beyond our expectations. 5*star!
Had a wonderful birthday dinner for my husband at Maize. The fixed three course menu was off the hook - all dishes were perfectly cooked and had that little extra love in the flavor and presentation. I know the yummy, warm biscuits are not suppose to be the main highlight of the meal... but they kinda are an important detail (to me). All in all a wonderful evening with top notch food! Can’t wait to come back later in the spring and sit out on the patio.
Food fresh, delicious and inventive. Service prompt. Pleasurable to speak with. Accumulated my likes, i hate fish so they swapped for beef.
