Restaurant was closed for business even though we had made a reservation on opentable. Notice to opentable to shut down that listing...founs it shut down and out of business and it was Thanksgiving.

Creative, impeccable food in an intimate setting where you feel as though you are being hosted to a perfect meal in a friend's home. The finest dining we've had in the Hamptons (and we've eaten everywhere). The chef and sous chef personally presented each dish to our table, and each of the 5-course tasting menu was better than the last. Seriously. They are trying the prix fix menu in the off season, and it was well worth the price. Even our 12 year old daughter is begging to go back. The personal service might be due to the fact that off-season is so slow - but that's part of what made the experience so special.

Limited menu and many of the items on the menu they didn’t have. When we order coffee at the end of the evening the waiter told us they only decaf since they were out of regular coffee. The manager was non apologetic since he was too busy watching football on his phone. Southampton would be better off if this place just goes out of business.

This was the worst restaurant the 4 of us have ever been to. The space was lovely, other than that it was an abomination. The waiter was clueless, the food was awful and none of us ate it. We went home and ate frozen pizza which was several steps above what they served. Awful and expensive, the absolute worst.

First time visit was nothing to write home about. Beautiful setting for lunch but food didn’t match ambiance. We were the only people in the restaurant for weekend lunch. I had expected top notch food but everything I was served was way too salty. My husband thought his burger was top notch, to be fair; however, every item on my plate was nearly inedible because of saltiness. Hope the food might be improved because Maison Vivienne is such an attractive venue!

Ugh. I really wanted to love this place, as we are always on the search for quality food in Southampton. We made a reservation for the Sunday night before Labor Day. The outside area was nearly full when we arrived, with no one inside. The place itself is super cute and well decorated. We were greeted by a friendly host and seated immediately. Unfortunately, the service from that point on was just about non-existent. We had to flag down the waiter to order drinks and place our order. The pacing of the food was extremely slow and no one bothered to check on us once food did arrive. There appeared to be only a single server for the entire patio area... there easily should have been 3. My hope is that the lack of appropriate staffing was a rookie mistake and management will learn from this and be better prepared in the future. The food was solid, but with service being so bad, it was hard to focus on the meal.

Very unimpressed, don't think they will make it to 2019 hamptons summer. We went during labor day weekend for dinner and it was half empty, not a good sign as the good restaurants were impossible to get into! Food was OK, not worth the money and entrees took forever to come out. Overall, it was OK, nice to try but would not go back.

Unfortunately, food was very disappointing. Bouillabaisse nothing like traditional, although they said it was a traditional recipe. Textures were weird. Heirloom tomato salad tasted like regular tomatoes. Other dishes were considered lackluster by all, and at these prices, kind of an outrage.

Two dinners; two weeks apart. Impeccable service, great food, beautiful outdoor patio, great ambience and vibe. Fun and a low key elegance without any “Hampton’s” pretentiousness. Our waiter and the staff were authentic and attentive. Good wine list with many affordable choices.
