Amazing experience! Every bite was incredible. The ceviche is the best I have ever had. The Brie was to die for. I will be back soon!
Wonderful experience, we enjoyed the Latin menu for Houston Restaurant Weeks. Food was exquisite! And so we’re the drinks 🥰
Sat outside. Great patio. Waiter who trying to sell the most expensive things on the menu gets tiring.
This meal was one of the best that I have had at any Houston restaurant. The chicken stew was outstanding. While the service was very good, we did not appreciate being seated next to a door which was constantly being opened by the staff who were serving other guests outside on the patio. As I had made a reservation, it would have been nice to be seated at a more comfortable table.
This could easily be one of our top meals of all time! We love to travel to Europe (when we can) and are foodies. Maison Pucha Bistro made for a world travel without leaving Houston! The food, presentation, and service simply cannot be beat! I only wish I didn't live in Dallas as this would be a regular place for us! The menu is creative and the flavors are unbelievable! The service is outstanding! Go and support this great place!!!
Best HRW and LRW menus - what a value!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The octopus ceviche was excellent, tomato gazpacho lacked flavor/seasoning. The trout almandine was excellent and nice and moist. The corvina was overdone. Really nice flavors, but most of it was like fish jerky. Be try was dry and chewy. If it wasn’t overcooked, it would have been excellent. Service fell off after appetizer. Waited over 1/2 hour from when we finished our appetizers to when they brought our entrees. Then had a wait to get the check.
We had a great experience. The food was awesome and will go back for the chocolate soufflé - It truly was aware winning. We had the shrimp appetizer and it was beautiful and wonderfully flavorful. Steak and Eggs were perfectly cooked and some of the best french fries I have had. Our waiter was attentive and very helpful, but not too much.
My boyfriend and I went to HRW brunch here. I had gone the year before for HRW also and obviously before the pandemic it was packed. We went this time around 11:15 it was fairly quiet the server Waylan made our brunch experience awesome. He was so attentive, he was so awesome from the beginning to end. The food! Ohhh I broke keto because of the food! Had the watermelon goat cheese salad, the French toast was moist and the syrup to go with it amazing, and the pistachio creme brûlée it was amazing! Not too sweet! Def worth the visit! I also read at the back of the menu they will be having a 3 course lunch for 20 bucks after HRW is over so take a look at that bc it’s totally worth it!
The service and atmosphere was outstanding as usual. The food had excellent flavor; my distraction was around temperature. I prefer my foods serviced piping hot, this was warm. I at it all. I enjoyed every bite. It would have been with improved temperature for the served main entree. I would/will go back without hesitation.
Great choice of dishes - flavours, presentation, serving size. Attentive, non-intrusive service, great ambiance.
Houston Restaurant Weeks!
We had been there previously and really enjoyed it. This time we can back for our anniversary dinner and the main course was very late in getting to us, confusion apparently between other table. The oysters were very good, gazpacho and fish ceviche likewise. The main course was not up to par. The octopus was very chewy and the catch of the day was very tough (not worth the $50 for the plate).
Went for lunch on HRW, the salmon was the best I’ve ever had. Awesome!
The staff was very prompt and really nice. The food was unique along with the various options available to make it extra special; although, it was a little overpriced.
The staff was very conscientious about Covid safety and patron comfort. All staff had masks and gloves. Our party of four felt very secure while eating inside. Food was excellent in taste and presentation. Every dish came promptly and intuitively timed. Alcohol and wine selection was extensive and well curated. The chocolate mousse for dessert was extraordinary!
Loved all the food and ambience
As always, a trip to this restaurant never disappoints! It is always a treat to come here and enjoy a wonderful meal. Service and food are always excellent! And on top of it they wholeheartedly support Houston Restaurants Weeks which is a huge boost to our food bank. Thank you and we always look forward to coming back
Visited during Houston Restaurant Week and I loved their menu. Their patio is great and so are their passion fruit mojitos!
Bonjour Mr Pucha
You restaurant has excellent food accompanied with mediocre service. Please advise your waiters to write down the order unless they can actually memorizing it, and the busboys need to replace the silverware that they clear away so one does not have to chase down the waiter to get silverware for the entree.
This was our first time here and we love the food and wonderful service.
We can’t wait to go again.
If you get a chance to go during restaurant week they have a wonderful menu to choose.
Amazing dining experience. Waylon may be the best waiter I have ever had, period. Food all tastes INCREDIBLE. If I had the tiniest of complaints is that portions are a little small. I had a wonderful hour and a half eating our three course meal, but I was hungry again 2 hours later. It’s fairly typical of luxury restaurants though, so I won’t take too many points from their score.
This is now my favorite restaurant in houston. The presentation of food, the service, the taste is more than expected. I love how beautiful the food looks. The service is always above and beyond. You won’t be disappointed. Amazing experience every time.
Wanted to try a couple of HRW Menus!! So glad we did! Our waiter was so informative and had a lovely personality!! The food was on point!! We will definitely be back!!!
I went for HRW last year and glad I could go again this year
The food and service were excelled and the HRW deal is unbeatable for that quality!
If you go, get the soufflé :)
Beautiful elegant presentation on all dishes! Food tastes delicious! Nice full covered patio incase it rains! Staff is awesome!
Excellent service and wonderful experience overall
We loved celebrating with the lovely staff !! Israel was attentive and everything from our dishes to our drinks was excellent.
Can’t wait to come back!
AMAZING food! FABULOUS plating!! wonderful patio for outdoor dining! our new favorite!!
My boyfriend is from LA, and is very hard to please. I know this place is fantastic. He loved it, too. Baked Brie is to die for.
We haven’t been out much in about 6 months. This meal was the best we’ve had in a year. We started with Foie Gras (thanks for offering my husband’s favorite indulgence) and Fish Ceviche. Both were stand outs. We had a filet mignon and steak frittes. The meat was flavorful, not bland. My husband loved my fries and bernaise so much, he ate it all. We ended with one of the best soufflés with an inspiring mango sauce. We are still talking about how good this was, down to the outstanding service. We can’t wait to go back.
They accommodated us on the patio for Happy Hour even though we were there at tail end of HH. Food is awesome and great value.
As always, this place never disappoints.
You can tell they really know how to cook here. Went during HRW to give it a try and food was first class! Also great service from our waiter, servers and support staff. Definitely want to return to try some regular menu entrees. By the way, the soufle was one of the best I have had in Houston. Don't miss out on that.
Beautiful atmosphere and presentation of food
Excellent variety and quality in every single dish they do, to the most minute detail - the pistachio creme brûlée is an absolute must.
Delicious food and nice service
