    We initially had some seating arrangements challenges to be in shade outside with a young baby.  Management was extremely helpful and considerate. Our waitress Allison was wonderful, patient, efficient, and very informative.

    We were greeted as soon as we arrived. And seated. We sat at the bar with Evan who is a fabulous experienced bar tender. He suggested what he thought we would like He was absolutely right. The fresh flounder and shrimp appetizer was excellent .. the entree was most delish! We will certainly return as this was our 4th time at Maison.

    After more than 20 years eating restaurants of all kinds throughout the Charleston area, we believe Maison is the best restaurant overall. We’ve eaten at Charleston Grill, Husk, Peninsula Grill, High Cotton, Amen Street, Grill 225, Magnolias, Fig, etc. We like Maison better. Polished, friendly service, extraordinary food, enjoyable atmosphere. We try to eat there several times a month.

    The food and service at Maison is outstanding. The menu is creative and flavorful without being "precious". Everyone loved their meal and our server was wonderful.
