Always so delicious. The dry aged duck breast was the best duck I have ever had!
This was our first visit but will definitely not be our last. A perfect evening from start to finish.
The featured flat bread was amazing. Scallops were good and the salmon is always great. Coq au vin was not what I expected. It was an early reservation and everything was served very quickly.
Outstanding food and service!
The food and experience was wonderful! Jonathan made the experience even better! He was best waiter I think I have ever had! When I come back in town and when I move here I will be back!
We had not been to Maison in some time but were very pleased to find the quality of food and service had if anything improved. Nate, our server, was outstanding in going over the menu and and making suggestions. He was equally knowledgeable about the wine offerings which is important given the unique French varietals on the list. We settled on a Corsican wine that lived up to Nate’s description and which we would probably never have selected without help. The food was outstanding with the Mushroom tart everyone’s favorite. I would highly recommend the deconstructed Coq au Vin nestling under a crisp layering of spaetzle. The Roasted Poisson with flageolet beans was also a hit. Congratulations to the kitchen brigade who bring a creative touch to what is a classic French cuisine. Keep up the good work.
Food was very good and was reasonably priced. The escargot appetizer was the one that stood out the most.
Very welcoming staff. Food was excellent and service also excellent. Interesting takes on French bistro classics.
We had a lovely time and look forward to coming back!
Fantastic, great all around
New Year’s Eve
New Year’s Eve dinner with a girlfriend was perfect. The food and service was amazing and the location easy to get to. Highly recommend
I generally prefer not to dine out on New Years Eve, but made an exception for Maison. The restaurant pulled it off perfectly. Both the food and service were excellent. It was definitely our best meal in a week of dining in Charleston.
Great food and service
Absolutely delicious. Had two appetizers in lieu of an entree and they were both divine!
First time here and it was wonderful. We celebrated our anniversary. Great food, great service. We will be coming back soon!
Creative twists on Bistro classics, and we especially appreciated
Gluten-free crepes! Would come again.
Small menu but wonderful selections. Fresh ingredients served by an attentive wait staff.
Wonderful meal! Nate was our server and gave great recommendations. Mushroom tart, escargot, chicken, frites, and madeleines….a perfect dinner!
Everything was amazing! We loved sitting at the counter (party of 5), it felt very covid-safe to have the big window open. Our server was very attendant to allergies, the atmosphere was lovely, and the food was superb.
Terrific first visit to Maison. Our waiter recommended the monkfish entree and he was certainly right. One of the best fish preparations I can recall. My wife ordered steak frites. We seldom have steak when we dine out — I’m pretty pleased with what I prepare at home. This was outstanding. Food, service, and unfussy environs make this an experience we will come back for again. Good wine options, as well. A great find!
This restaurant is amazing! Best service, unbelievable food and would highly recommend!
Our first time here and it won’t be our last. Fantastic new and Classic French options all creatively prepared and presented. Food, drink and service were all top notch! Recommended.
Maison has become our favorite restaurant in Charleston.
Amazing food. One of the best meals I've ever had.
Excellent service and food. The entire experience was great. Highly recommend
Great menu. The snails were a little dry and lacking in garlic but still tasty. The octopus special was fabulous, very tender. The muscles were the best - creamy and unusual sauce. The bartender was very professional, excellent service and had great cocktail suggestions. Atmosphere is lacking a little, but I wouldn’t hesitate to return.
Hadn't been to Maison since Covid started. Did not disappoint. Food, service and overall experience was first rate. Dining room was about 1/2 full when we arrived and full when we left. Noise level was not bad for a packed house. My wife and I shared the Torchon of fois gras to start and a house salad which is plenty big enough for two. She had fish of the day which was steamed flounder and I had roasted grouper. Both were cooked perfectly and nice size portions. Macon chardonnay by the glass paired well with the entire meal. Jake our server was attentive and helpful when asked about specific herbs in different dishes on the menu.
Good experience, we will be back soon.
Really fantastic food!
Evan is an amazing bartender and so cordial. The food is spot on as always, this is consistently one of the best experiences in Charleston.
Incredible food execution. Hospitality was 100. Ventilation problem caused window to have to be kept open. Other than that, it was perfect.
Delicious food, excellent service , cozy booth …..
The food was delicious but we got sat next to the bathroom when there were other tables available, which hurt our experience. The French onion croquette was delicious and creative!
Excellent food, charming atmosphere and attentive staff. I highly recommend Maison!
Sunday brunch was very poor. Food was unattractive. Quiche was not good. Smoked salmon in some kind of smashed crepe and smeared with goat cheese mess was inedible. Worst food I've ever seen anywhere (including McDonald's!
Had a nice birthday dinner for my 19 year old son. He loved the Vacherin cheese and lapin croute.
outstanding - everything we tried on menu far exceeded our expectations and great service
Maison was a wonderful experience. It is not a large place and you sit relatively close to the people at the next tables. The ambience is relaxed and welcoming. The wait staff is knowledgeable, friendly and very accommodating. The food is outstanding. We are still talking about the citrus tossed raw tuna served with the fluffiest pancake and our filet steaks just melted in our mouth.
Amazing as always! Favorite spot in town! 10/10
