    I took my man here to celebrate Father's Day and I am so glad that I chose this place. He loved it from the time we walked through the door. It was an amazing experience, from the customer service to the food. He couldn't decided what he wanted to to eat. Everything was delightful. We even had music. I highly recommend this venue.

    I recently dined at Maie Day, and while the food had its highlights, the service left a bit to be desired. We ordered the burger, steak and frites, and the mahi mahi. Unfortunately, we were told they had run out of potatoes, which meant the steak and frites became more of a steak and hamburger combo with a baked potato on the side. Not ideal, but we rolled with it. The burger itself was decent, and the steak looked appetizing—something I’d consider ordering on a return visit. That said, the service really impacted the experience. Our food took longer than expected to arrive, and drink service was notably slow. I waited several minutes to order a second drink before finally getting up and walking over to our server, who was leaning on the bar. I had asked for a side of mayo with my burger but was given sour cream instead. When I requested mayo again, it didn’t arrive until I was nearly finished eating. To their credit, the staff seemed aware of the issues and brought out a complimentary dessert, which we appreciated. I was referred to this place with high expectations, so I left feeling a bit let down. However, I do see potential—especially in the kitchen—and I’d be willing to give it another shot, particularly to try that steak that looked so good on its way to another table.

    We went around 6:25 and it wasn’t busy at all! Started getting busy the later it got. The location is great - right on South Congress. After you get done, you can walk around, shop, get ice cream! I got the fried Mahi Mahi and it was SO GOOD. My partner got the burger and she said it was the best burger ever. We got the blooming onion and potato rolls for appetizers and oh my goodness… definitely get the potato rolls. SO YUMMY! I also got a mocktail and it was so yummy. Honestly, everything was really yummy. Definitely recommend!!!!

    The staff were so attentive and considerate to our group Especially as we are from Ireland and not used to American menus. But all of the staff were so kind and helpful. The restaurant was very hot with the open ovens which would be very welcome in Ireland but I was struggling with the temperature in the Texas heat. The staff recognized this straight away and made sure to look after us. We really appreciated the kind gesture and the food was delicious .

    The steak and frites and scoop of vanilla ice cream were exceptional- everything else- the shrimp cocktail and service were mediocre at most. Everyone who worked there was incredibly kind. We didn’t have any place settings and kept having to ask for basics one by one- utensils and napkins which was one noticeable setback. While service was incredibly slow it allowed my daughter and I to slow down too. We will definitely be returning though :)

    The food was exceptional, we tried almost all of the appetizers and not one of them was a disappointment. Overall favorites were the crab claws and shaved prime rib with the Yorkshire pudding. Our NY strip was cooked to absolute perfection and the mushrooms were divine.

    The food and service was wonderful. My only complaint was that the AC was out so it was really hot in the restaurant.

    Coastal Grooves and Brush Fire cocktails were good. For food the Jalapeno Cornbread, Shaved Prime Rib, Gimmie Burger, and Carrot Cake are all very good, would highly recommend. The Crudo was a little bit of a let down, not bad, just not much flavor and could have used a little more salt. The restaurant was a little warm but they had some large fans at least, albeit a little noisy. I would definitely come back and especially during happy hour to try more appetizers and cocktails.
