Wonderful food and outstanding service but quite pretentious on the pricing. As a matter of fact, this entire resort is quite overpriced. They also do not bother to tell you before you get there that there’s a $200 per night incidental charge upfront. Absolutely ridiculous! Probably will not be a return visitor.

Our experience was beyond what we expected. Our server, House was the kindest and most personable guy you could think of. The atmosphere was amazing and the food was even better. Pricey but you can expect that from a resort. 10/10 experience

We eat breakfast and dinner there. The chef is exceptional. The presentation was wonderful. The food tasted amazing and the service was very good.

Such a beautiful evening! We couldn’t have ordered in a better sunset sky. Alex was a wonderful server, the drinks and food were absolutely delicious, followed by the best coconut cake dessert. Can’t wait to come back.

The food here is very mediocre, and given the price point, fell way below expectations. The presentation was nice, except that the salmon was served skin-side up, which was odd. Upon tasting the food we discovered that although the fish was cooked nicely, it was bland. The lobster mix on the Mahi was flavorful but the Mahi itself was lackluster. The mashed potatoes were thin and tasteless, and the broccolini seemed added as an obligatory vegetable without much attempt to make it palatable. The best items were the freshly-baked rolls at the start of the meal, which were light and fluffy with a hint of salt, and the flavorful, cheesy risotto that accompanied the salmon. For dessert, the coconut cake had a nice presentation but was fairly dry and tasted as if it had been previously frozen then thawed. It was served with a side of Kool Whip instead of homemade whipped cream, which for the price should be a given. Service from start to finish was slow and inattentive but friendly. Overall Mahina was a disappointment. There were a couple of small bright spots, but the meal as a whole was very "meh". We've enjoyed much better meals for half the price. And while the views from Mahina are undoubtedly gorgeous, if you're a guest at the resort, you can get those same views from other places on the property for free. We won't be returning.
