I have been going to Mahi'ai Table for awhile now and it's been one of my favorite places to have brunch with my family, pupus and drinks with friends. Our Father's Day brunch was the worst I have experienced. Our server Kuuipo/Kukuipo I feel wasn't train properly, as we asked for water fills and a glass of water for me had to be asked 2X. When she took our cups for a refill, rather than getting it filled and bringing it back to us, she decided to take another tables order. How hard is it to get our waters filled and drop it back to our table rather than having us die from thirst, then going to the other table to get their orders. When I asked her they still could do the Salami/Sausage Pizza she looked at me blank, I had to tell her if she could just ask the cook. Most places would say "it was taken off our menu but I'll check with our chef/cook to see if they still can make it for you". On top of that they gave us the bill/check before we could even order dessert. After receiving the bill/check I asked if I could add the ube pie and she came back 5mins later to ask if we were done with our water. Hmmm...Hello! Don't you think we need something to drink while we eat our dessert? I had to tell her that we're still waiting for out dessert so we'll need something to drink. I gave it at least 2 stars because the manager/supervisor made the effort by offering dessert as an apology for the lack of service. I think it'll be awhile till my family goes back there again. Next time I'll just head to the bar area where I'll get service.
The receptionist paid more attention to the phone than helping live customers to our seat. Our pupus were served to another table and sonours arrived after we ate our main courses. Asked waitress for ketchup didnt get it. Asked the receptionist since she was by our table and she brought 4 little fast food packets of ketchup. The male server asks “do you want more tea?” It was a joke. Really expected more cuz im a huge foodland and foodland farms fan.
Everything was simply fantastic! We went on a Thursday and there was music playing -and the guy was amazing. Livened up the place nicely. Our waiter was so helpful a d friendly and the food! Damn! Couldn’t have asked for anything better. The my kid’s said the burgers were sooooo good and I had the fish and chips where awesome. Gotta get the potato appetizers very unique in a good way! This place is da bomb!
Great spot in foodland, with local ingredients and wonderful staff. We went to dinner to eat their ahi patty burger and found they don’t serve it anymore for dinner- we were pretty disappointed to hear they don’t have that on the menu anymore as it was our family’s favorite. Anyone know of another place with a good ahi burger?!
Really cute spot with live music and great food and drinks!
First visit, quick to sit at reservation time, quick greeting by Rachel our server, quick appetizers, timing perfect on everything. Food was amazing and high quality, definitely going back!
Really amazing customer service! Thanks Nancy! Good food!
Food was great and budget friendly. Service was good. My only concern was that our food took about 25 minutes to make. However, I wasn’t in a rush and the food was ONO.
My boyfriend and I were a little disappointed about seared Ahi with lettuce. It was small portion and did not have much flavor. I did not care for the sauce and it was not worth $21.
We loved Brussels sprouts dish!
First time trying their dinner menu. I love the family style concept. Food was ono! Presentation of food items were on point. The pork shank adobo plating was gorgeous. The Mahiai cobb was colorful. The dressing on it is divine. Although the salad was only for one, we ended up sharing that as family style. The crispy fish was ono too. Gotta get all these items again. My friends and I also enjoyed the beef and tomato. We also ordered and shared the rocky road pie - super delicious. Need to come back and try the ube pie. I am glad this place is in our community. I’ve also been here for lunch and I enjoyed lunch specials. I will be back soon to for dine in during live music.
Food was pretty good. The service was great but the server hardly came around. When you looked around there were times where there were no servers around at all. It’s like they hide in the back. Once they took our order, they would disappear for long time. Our drinks took a while, our food took a while and no one came around to reassure that our order was on its way. Once the food was dropped off, all the servers disappeared again. Even the servers that weren’t assigned to our table paid no attention to anyone one else but their own guest. We tried waiving a server down that wasn’t assigned to us and they always just looked down and walked passed us. I don’t think we would go there just cause of the service….
It's odd to find good dining in a grocery store, but Foodland Farms makes it work! We went to try their new Happy Hour (2-4pm) menu. Everything was great. $3 craft draft beer is the clincher for me! Cheers!
Amazing food. Didn’t realize it was a food court inside of a restaurant but it didn’t matter. Ambiance was cool and had live music. But you come for the locally sourced ingredients and it did not disappoint. Delicious!
It’s a restaurant in a grocery store.
Awesome.. Lance and Daniel are the best bartenders around , they make you feel right at home with friends with great drinks, food and company.
Everything was great from booking through the dining!
Both hosts and servers are very nice and helpful from the beginning till the end.
We will definitely go back to dine with them.
Selection is great. Options for different eaters type of taste. Choices are mostly healthy. Not the usual plain old type of local menu. It’s local with a twist that raises the bar. Good for all dining.
The live music was awesome. It was awesome but a little too loud for the space . We couldnt hear eachother speaking.
Great experience, everything tasted so good! Eric was a great server, very attentive. Thank you for the great experience.
Great food, but you are inside a grocery store and that doe affect the ambience.
Good experience! 2 in my party on a Wednesday about 530p. We had the Lechon Brussels Sprouts, Poke Potatoes for pupus and they were delicious! Then we shared the Shrimp & Garlic Noodles that was super flavorful. I wouldn’t recommend it to those with sensitive tummies though because they’re pretty heavy handed on the butter. Great service, got super busy 6p-8p, but you see the servers and management helping each other out. Live music a plus and an even more added bonus is they have a good wine list. We ordered a bottle of Evolution by Sokol Blosser and the price was pretty reasonable!
Food was alright. We came here before and was happy with our products. This time, we came during a full house and the food we got was a bit meh, where my boyfriends' fish was overcooked a bit (fish and chips) and the pizza rarely had taste (alii mushroom pizza). The ambience was great though! There was live music playing.
First time visiting this establishments... didn't know what to expect. Pleasantly surprised.... Service and food were excellent. Can't wait to go back.
Fantastic food, awesome service (Eric was our server and he was great). will definitely be back!
Christian was great server and knew the menu items. Food was delicious with great flavors.
We will be back!!
Friend and I went for the first time. We had the whole chicken, Jaime rice and mahi'ai vegetables. The chicken was cooked well and very tasty and moist. Can't complain. Would go back to try more food.
We really enjoy coming here for a meal! It is located inside Foodland Farms Kapolei. Staff is friendly, helpful, informative, efficient. Food is fresh and delicious, they change up their menu every so often, they have a bar and live music on certain nights of the week. I really enjoyed their Furikake Salmon Cobb Salad and my husband really enjoyed his Ahi Burger. This place is surely on our go to places near our home. Cool part is you can do your grocery shopping at when you're done having your meal!
Good, service great, oysters fresh, appreciated the greens with the seared sashimi.
We ordered the whole fish last time we came and it came with rice underneath. We ordered it again and it was missing. Also the malasadas was a little high priced st $8.
Food was great and our initial server was great! Saw her leave. Usually they'll say "so n so will be taking care of you, bc I'm leaving" but realized its open servers. Service went down from there though.
Second time here. Botht imes service wa simpeccable. Got the burger, so yummy. Got fries with it. THe fries are really great! My son had the chicken tenders and he loved them. Pizza was a little sophisticated for him last time. We came at 12:30 and tables open. By the time we left which was beginning of happy hour, it was busy, 2:00pm
Enjoyed the food and beverages! The Servers and Bartender are so friendly and provide superior service!
They changed the menu. They took out the wonderful BLT. I ordered the pork chop, which was so good last time, that I was willing to get another one but even tho it was on the menu, we were told that they were out of them!!! they are in a supermarket!....there are lovely pork chops on the shelves!!!really????...so I was really disappointed, so I ordered the fish & chips cuz the fish was swordfish & I love swordfish....but it had too much crunchy batter on it. It was ok, but not what I expected from them....my friend had a mushroom pizza which she didn’t like so I gave her some of my fish & chips. Our other friend ordered the Ahi burger but when she got it, it did not look like Ahi. So we asked the waiter if she got the wrong order (she was thinking it was the chickpea burger). The waiter said that the grind up the ahi & shape it into a burger....very disappointing.....we all left unhappy....I hope they can get back to something better cuz even the staff didn’t seem happy with the menu changes. The waiter said he would see us again...maybe, maybe not.
I only have a 4 for overall because there is no restroom in the restaurant. You have to go through the grocery store 😂 FoodLand. Food was amazing and our waiter was very kind, knowledgeable and did a great job checking on us etc.
We sat at the bar and enjoyed great conversation with Daniel and the funny uncles who regularly go there. The food was super tasty! My favorite was the mushroom pizza.
The menu speaks for itself - yummy. The fresh juices are a must-have. The food is ono! I am surprised with the Cobb salad. Very flavorful. I will continue to come on back. I want to come back during pau hana time to enjoy the live music.
I was surprised to find that this restaurant is located inside a market. It has a full service bar and has a pleasant style. The food was delicious. The service was great. A great place for casual dinner.
Food was amazing
The waiter was awesome! When he had to step away for his break he let us know and reassured us that his co works would be taking care of us until he returned, and take care of us they did! Btw the food was good too!
