MAHANIYOM is a tapas/family-style Thai cuisine that brings an exceptional dining experience
to our guests by serving meticulously home-cooked style, authentic Thai cuisine made from
scratch and handcrafted cocktails in an unpretentious feel-like-home atmosphere that
reminisces our home Thailand. Walk-ins welcome. Reservations are available 30 days in advance. We are very small, we highly recommend reservations during peak hours! Reservations and dine-in guests are designated up to 90 minutes. If you are running late, please call us at (617) 487-5986. We hold the table up to 15 minutes past the reservation time.

You won't really want to skip anything on the shareable menu, but the beef panang and crab fried rice are non-negotiable. Cocktails like the Sazerac with Thai tea-infused rye are equally top-notch, and the cozy, rustic space with exposed-brick walls is for lingering.

Service was great. Food was fairly underwhelming. Green papaya pad Thai was an undistinguished, brown, sauce as were the razor clams.

Everyone was friendly and welcoming, the cocktails were unique and the food was delicious, fresh and interesting. All in all, we had a fabulous dinner!

We had a great meal at Mahaniyom and I see the hype which contributed to a difficult to snag reservation. Our server was knowledgeable and made recommendations and was accommodating towards food allergies. My only gripe is the food came out so fast that we felt somewhat rushed by the restaurant to finish up so they could seat the next reservation. A great meal out with unique cocktails but probably not the best spot for a long catch-up with friends. Still I’d return for sure!

We will be back. Excellent food and excellent service. Stand outs were the lamb satay, papaya salad with fried soft shell crab, and the larb. Can't wait to go back and try more off of the menu.

Delicious food! Kang Pun is my fave (if you like a crab curry), Pad Thai is the best in Boston metro- get with 3 Tiger shrimp. Also tried razor clams, beef penang, masaman beef and brussel sprouts, all delicious. Chicken gaprow with egg was good but not sure I would order again. More tapas portions (read: smaller) but fine as it’s flavorful food and curries, so filling. We will be back!

What a magnificent restaurant. Food was excellent, beyond our expectations. Perhaps some of the best Thai food we have ever had, and we eat a lot of Thai food. The staff was wonderful, we were greeted with smiles that didn’t end until we left. The service was second to none. My wife accidentally dropped her fork on the floor and one of the staff who was on the far side of the room. Was there in no time at all with the new set up for my wife. Five stars to you
