   What an incredible gem of a restaurant. I worked in the restaurant business for years at some of the best places around. The food was incredible, but it was surpassed by the graciousness of the two young women who served us. The space itself is a brick and beam holdover from 50 years ago that fits perfectly into today. Each dish we had we shared, so I got to eat a pretty good spread of the menu, all of it was well thought out, and beautifully executed.

   The food was amazing…the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had. I’ll be thinking about that Pad Thai and when can I have it again. Very inventive cocktails and good sized shareable plates. Definitely will be back again

   The food was great and the decorations were lovely. However, they only allow 90 minutes for dining in. We were a family of four (2 adults and 2 kids), and we had to rush through our meal instead of enjoying it. If we had ordered just a few dishes.It might have been fine,but we ordered about 10 dishes, and the portions were on the smaller side. This is the first time I’ve seen a restaurant limit a group of four to just 90 minutes. So be aware if you’re coming with a larger group, you likely won’t have enough time to relax, enjoy your drinks, and savor your meal. It felt more like a race than a dining experience!!

   We had the rambutan salad, beef panang, lon goong special, thai fried chicken, and saved room for dessert. Every dish was delicious, as always, but I especially can't stop thinking about the fried chicken! It was incredibly flavorful; it alone will bring me back in the very near future. Service was excellent, drinks are interesting and complex. I enjoy every meal I have here, a real gem just outside Boston!

   Tight squeeze, very loud, lackluster service, drinks came in the middle of dinner, very salt heavy which masked flavor of the food and made everything taste similar. Much better Thai to be had elsewhere.

   This was our first experience eating at Mahaniyom. It's been difficult to reserve a table. At 6:00 on a Wednesday it was packed and VERY noisy. Tables are close together. Staff was very friendly and helpful answering questions about the menu and portion size. For two of us, we ordered 4 dishes and it was plenty! The Brussel sprouts were our favorite followed by the Beef Massaman. Three of our 4 dishes were vegetarian, we ordered one cocktail and one beer and the bill was $86 without tip. So not a cheap night out but we did enjoy the food quite a bit! Might order takeout next time though.
