Very good. Would definitely go back if I was in the area
I think everyone is doing the best they can with the environment we are now in.
Wonderful food, attentive service, beautiful photo decorations, prices a little higher than we expected. We will be returning!
This was the ideal environment for a business lunch with high quality food options and a place for quiet conversation. On Wednesdays, Magelby's offers an $18 buffet which includes dessert and a beverage. All of the main course options looked delicious . . . I chose shrimp and salmon with steamed vegetables. There were several other options including a beef carving station. The sides and salads were plentiful. Carrot Cake & Strawberry Shortcake finished off the meal just right for me. Thanks for delicious food in the perfect environment.
Excellent- nice modern looking place- excellent food
We needed a hearty meal after a race in St. George. Everyone in our dinner party was absolutely pleased with their orders & service was efficient & friendly. I appreciated how fresh everything tasted! The rolls were delightful!
It was just ok. Nothing more.
Food was very good. We’ll prepared. Entrees could have arrived a bit warmer. Service was friendly and good.
Great option in St George
Friendly staff and good food
My friend and I were seated quickly in a nice booth by a window. We were served soft, warm rolls and water. Our server was attentive and everything came in a timely manner. I wanted lemon slices for my water and she was quick to bring them. When she refilled my water she was attentive enough to ask if I needed more lemon and brought it quickly when I responded in the affirmative.
We were asked, while we had forks in our hands and were still actively eating, whether we wanted boxes for our food. It was off-putting, bad timing. As ambiance goes, some restaurants are so dark you can’t read the menu without your phone light but yours could probably use a little mood lighting. The place is clean and nice enough, good flow for servers, but lacks personality, except for the tables in the entry. It’s not a reason to stay away, however, the food is fantastic: salmon and shrimp salad with creme brûlée to follow. Yum!! It was my birthday choice - that’s another thing, some kind of special occasion recognition would be nice. Why ask on open table for what special occasion you’re attending if no recognition is given?
Even so, it was a nice spot for a delicious dinner. Thank you!
Cheddar potato soup too salty. Trout excellent. Rice pilaf undercooked. Zucchini perfect.
We had a very enjoyable time. The meal was very good and our server was very attentive. The only thing I would comment is that our table wobble which we fixed ourselves with tissue paper.
Enjoyed their month end sea /prime rib buffet. Food was excellent with many selections. Staff was very professional and respondent.
Food was excellent. Waitress was friendly and provided good service, however she rushed the main entrée. we ordered the charcutre plate, salad, and main. She served our main before I even got to the salad! She should have paced the chef on our progress.
Able to accommodate a large group of 10 at a round table. Made for a pleasant evening where we could all talk to one another without being at the “wrong end” of the table. The food and service was outstanding and made for an overall fun evening.
We had the buffet for the first time. Not a lot of selection to choose from but all the food offered was high standards and very good. Nice the buffet came with a drink and dessert.
The food was absolutely horrible. 4 different dinner orders and all overloaded with salt. I’m not one to complain so we paid bill and left four full plates. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Thanks to Mickey Ds we were able to eat something
Excellent service and good food.
From the young man who sat us, the bus girl who served our waters, to Dana (impeccable server) it was lovely. Coming off a year and a half of NOT dining out locally I had gone last week with a girlfriend for lunch and was so impressed that when my husband, who work out of state, was coming home for the weekend I told him I had made reservations. If it weren't for the dress of the other patrons one could be transported back in time to when dining was an event worth dressing up for :)
Easy to make a reservation, food and service was excellent. Lots of choices and love the chocolate cake
My husband had the chicken pasta with artichoke hearts etc. It had a lot of good ingredients but was utterly tasteless and bland.
I had the salmon. I asked for garlic mashed potatoes, which obviously had no garlic in them and the vegetables were mostly zucchini. The dill sauce over the salmon had no flavor. The salmon was moderately passable.
Amazing rolls! Great service and so delicious! Looking forward to going back!
Excellent bruschetta appetizer, Chicken parmesan was very good. The wine was smooth.
JJ Our server was awesome! We spent an hour driving around trying to find somewhere to eat! Everywhere had over an hour wait I used open table, got my reservation & we were seated the minute we walked in... Food was incredible! Service from staff was friendly & we highly recommend them! Made our whole trip!
Enthusiastic try, but a miss on the food. A C+ at best but the server was very attentive and added to the otherwise mediocre dining experience. I’m sure there are better options.
The food was great and so was the service. Try the bruschetta and sirloin tips.
Food was excellent. Had salad with salmon and shrimp. Yummy. Service was very good. Good value. Will definitely go back.
We had a wonderful server and the food was amazing!
Familiar with the chain. Did not know there was a location in St. George. It was a pleasant surprise.
wonderful service & wonderful food
Very good food and service they were offering a buffet and it was very good.
If you don’t know what good food is - or just don’t know any better, you wouldn’t mind the food. We are not from here and went off the good reviews, however we do know what good food is and it was a pretty painful experience. Yikes! Service was good, it’s not their fault the food was really bad.
Greetings, we are sorry to hear that our food was unsatisfactory. Please give us a call and we would like to take care of you and hear more about this experience. We appreciate your feedback, have a wonderful day.
A delightfully classy place to enjoy a pleasant business lunch with colleagues or clients.
Thank you for taking the time in providing your wonderful experience! We appreciate your business and hope to see you again soon.
We love this hidden gem! Great, freshly prepared food.
Perfect for our work party. Food was delicious especially since it was a nice restaurant where the portion sizesare typically tiny.
A party of four of us dined at Magleby's. It was nice to be greeted warmly. The buffet meal was outstanding and beautifully presented with a tremendous variety of delicious choices. At the end of the meal, each of us chose a different dessert, and we each exclaimed how delicious our choice was. Magleby's is a first-class, high-end place to have a good, pleasant meal at a reasonable price. You leave with anticipation of coming back the very next chance you get. For us, that will be soon.
It was our first time to Magleby’s and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious and the service was top-notch, super friendly! We really enjoyed our time here, and glad we made this our dinner stop in St. George!
Good service (Myki), poor ambiance (very loud and very bright), a little on the expensive side for the quality, weird artichoke puree, good bread rolls, weak side salads, limited availability for some items (charcuterie and prime rib), good ribeye cuts, terrible chicken fried steak (think IHOP), great creme brulee! Overall 2.5/5
The dining experience was great but I am a little bummed that OpenTable would not let me have any points for making my reservation through open table why should I use OpenTable if you’re not gonna give me points
It was good, not great. We will go back. A friend had Country Fried Steak. It was disappointing that it did not have the traditional white country gravy. My penne pasta was a little overcooked. It seemed a little overpriced for the quality of food. It was not bad though.
