   Well Mothers day last night was a night mare. Reservation for 7pm 45 minutes later got seated . They totally over booked .Ran out of food. We sat 1hour 20 minutes before we got salad ended up packing up food to take home. Just got tired of sitting there. I'm sure the place is great bit not for mothers day. Our server was great.

   We have loved Maggiano's for years and have been coming to this restaurant for over 10 years, but if last night was our first time, we would not be going back. From the wait with having reservations, to the wait to order food, then getting all 3 courses at once and our entrees being lukewarm, to then waiting on desert. I know last night was Mothers Days and we expected it to be busy, but did not expect the sub par experience or food.

   This is our second time at Maggiano’s. The food was delicious. We were there for Mother’s Day and as expected, it was super busy! We were lucky to get our reservations in for the time we requested; we were hoping to get a table upstairs, unfortunately, given the MD rush we were seated downstairs. Our waitress, Sabrina, made up for it by being super efficient as well as very gracious and most helpful. They had a special Mother’s Day menu available, the dishes were served « family style » I wasn’t sure how that was going to turn out for our family of 4 adults and 3 children but I was overwhelmed by the quantity of food we were served. All of it was delicious: the lasagna, shrimp scampi, chicken fettuccini alfredo, calamari, beef special, Caesar salad, meatballs with marinara sauce and garlic bread, tiramisu, cheese cake and lemon cookies, all were first class; it was quite the feast and so much leftover! As always, Maggiano’s Italian cuisine with their tradition of quality, well prepared food, generous servings and efficient staff, never disappoint their guests. We will definitely be back, again and again.

   The service was excellent. Even though it was busy the wait staff took the time to understand our needs and provide suggestions. Excellent job!

   Our server, Sasha, was excellent! He was attentive, friendly and so helpful! The person who first poured our wine needed more training. They did apologize for spilling some of the wine though. Sasha treated us with kindness and respect and made our whole experience better. The food was delicious as usual.

   We went to Maggiano’s to celebrate our son’s college graduation We had a reservation and waited about 10 minutes to be seated. The restaurant was very busy with other graduations, birthdays, proms, and two rehearsal dinners on site but staff were attentive and efficient. We had an excellent dining experience with Chris. He was very personable, took an interest in our overall dining experience, and even arranged for a special congratulatory dessert plate with lemon tart cookies and chocolate script. All five of us fit comfortably in our booth, and had a wonderful family meal. We would definitely come back and dine again.

    They rapidly bring course after course to you like it is a speed eating contest. Ask your server to slow it down.
