Madrina, the Italian- American neighborhood restaurant in Webster Groves, will host the Silk Road Dinner Series, a three-part dinner experience celebrating diversity in the St. Louis culinary space. The Silk Road Dinner Series will be hosted monthly beginning on Wednesday, June 18, through August. Helmed by Executive Chef Tim Adams, the series brings together some of St. Louis’ most celebrated culinary talents. Part 2 with Chef Nick Bognar of Indo and Sado featuring a fusion experience between Bognar's Southeastern Asian cuisine and Italian-American recipes. Inspired by the famous trade route pioneered by Marco Polo, the Silk Road Dinner Series explores the combination of cultures throughout Europe and Asia. What started as a migration and shift within the culinary landscape has come to inspire a bigger goal to represent diversity and cultural celebration in St. Louis. The Silk Road Dinner Series will highlight various regions along the historic Silk Road through ingredients, techniques, and recipes passed down by generations of chefs before.

Four of us went for their Happiest Hour on a Thursday. Zoe and John were wonderful. Really enjoyed the Antipasto Tower, Calamari, and the unique Lonzino. Nice cocktails and wine options. Thoroughly enjoyed!

Birthday for my fiancé. The food was impeccable & the service exceeded our expectations. We are excited to return and try different menu items. Amazing ambiance and the sommelier was kind & knowledgeable.

This was our second time dining at Madrina. It was another stellar experience. The wine pairing with each delicious dish was perfect and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Our guest commented several times on the sophisticated, warm ambience. Madrina is a very special place and we're already looking forward to going back.

I don’t know what more they could have possibly done to add to just an awesome experience. Everyone in there is passionate about what they are doing. You have to come experience it. We had the Chef’s Choice 4 Course Meal. It’s limited availability, Highly recommend planning it out and experiencing it! It was so unique, my date and I loved it!

Absolutely fantastic!! I would give them more stars if I could. We went for our anniversary dinner and it was incredible. The food and drinks were amazing and the service was wonderful! The staff (especially John) were all very knowledgeable and helpful, and made our dinner extra special. It was the best service we’ve had in a while! Best Tiramisu in St. Louis. We will definitely be going back!

I had the cappellacci. I did not particularly like this dish. Sauce was a little more milky than creamy, and the crab was a little tough. I will order something different next time. The Mayfair salad was outstanding, along with the bread. Someone in my party ordered the pollo piccata, and that was very good. I love the round tables. We were waited on right away and everyone was very friendly.

Friends and I attended the first Silk Road series dinner at Madrina last night. This first one was a collaboration between the chef at DD Mau and the Madrina chef. The dishes they came up with were absolutely phenomenal. Plus they did a wine pairing that you could choose additionally and it was perfect for each dish. This was so good that I’m going to go back for the second and third dinners in the series. I love how creative this new chef at Madrina is. As always, the service was fantastic. Whether I’m having appetizers at the bar or a four course dinner, Madrina always feels special. I love the decor and the ambience.

Our evening at Madrina was perfect! The food was outstanding and the service exemplary. It is definitely a place for celebrations or a quiet date night.
