   Sunday roast was delicious. Slight wait for food but we didn't mind because we were enjoying the atmosphere. Team are great. Although they were busy, everyone was really warm and helpful. Meal felt particularly special as owner/chef was visibly preparing individual plates in the open kitchen. Salted Chocolate Tart - game changer Absolutely loved it!

   Absolute gem of a restaurant. The food is superb, the staff are friendly and efficient. Wine menu is pleasing. The only difficulty I have is choosing what to eat, the menu is absolutely brilliant. Chef Adam Hardiman is brilliant.

   As always the food was fantastic. Due to covid craziness we were seated outside which was a bit chilly, but the garden is gorgeous and once we got our first cocktail (mine was an amazing blood orange martini) we were warm and happy. Love this place and can't wait for the next meal.

   Food was amazing! On the evening we went they were having a pretty busy day though so it a 2 hour wait for our mains. But it was worth the wait and the restaurant had a really good feel to it.

   I really enjoyed my meal but the music was so loud that we had to shout at each other over the table

   Food was quite nice but nothing special for the price. The service was good and attentive but the ambience was awful. The place looks very home-made with no professional fit-out done to create an ambience or manage the noise levels. We liked the food although found it a bit overpriced but didn't enjoy our time there as the chairs were very uncomfortable and we couldn't hear each other properly due to loud music and noise coming from the other tables.

   Went for a roast, which was a good roast, but overpriced. Standard 'trimmings' at a premium price. Meat was good. Lovely Yorkshire puddings, not very good potatoes. Service was poor. Initially we were asked to sit at a bar (table booked 2 weeks in advance) which we asked to change. Appreciated that they moved us, but then had to ask for condiments, extra water. The food took 90 minutes to arrive. Very loud music inside - to the point where it was hard to have a conversation. Outside was quieter.

    Ordered the food and it came an hour and a half later. When it did come it was lovely but the fact that the staff did not apologise for the delay was upsetting.
