   We arrived for reservation and were told the restaurant had gone out of business as of Sunday.

   I didn’t have any food, but the happy hour prices were sort of not happy hour and a drink was just OK. Also, we didn’t feel like we had quality service.

   We were the only ones seated at 5 PM, which we felt was strange given the close location to Petco Park and given how good the experience was. We were warmly welcomed by the manager, who also started our order. He was very enthusiastic about the rotisserie chicken that had just come out, and he wasn’t wrong - it was very good and generously portioned. My wife’s pasta was also good, though a bit oversalted. The music was a bit loud, which was the only detractor.

   We had a confirmed reservation on Open Table. However, when we arrived at the restaurant we were told that our reservation could not be honored because the restaurant was hosting two large private parties.

   Hi Michelle. I would like to personally apologize because based on your review it appears our staff failed to relay to you that the only reason we could not service you was because our hood system broke. This caused extreme temperatures in our kitchen which was is safety concern. We were waiting on a emergency tech to come out right around the time you arrived. We are very sorry that we could not accommadate you and hope that you will give us another try.

   Vibe and atmosphere are great when the live jazz is playing. We ordered a starter as soon as we arrived and waited about 25 mins until the waiter came back to take our order for the main dish. Another 25 mins went by with no starter! Eventually we had to say something because of course they forgot the order. In all we waited far too long for mediocre food. Will most likely not be coming back.

   Food was delicious. We had the Caesar salad, flat iron steak and pesto pasta with chicken. Everything tasted so good. We sat in the dinning area and there was a nice jazz band in the bar area. Service was excellent from hostess, server and bartender. A great experience.

   The jazz was amazing, but just a tad loud. Other than that, amazing all around.

   Lack of or inflexability of Vegan choices. Live music should be done acoustically if in a place dominated by hardscape. Convo at the table was at shouting levels. Band played every jazz standard, including ballads, at 200 BPM. It had the pulse of any of the dance clubs around it. Or server went beyond the call of duty Not his fault. Management needs to rethink direction of restaurant. Is it a club or a dining experience.

It sounds like you were seated in our bar and lounge, which is intended for guests who want to to enjoy our free live music. Perhaps you should have requested our main dining room/ front patio where the music is not as loud.

   Very disappointed. The service was excellent but restaurant had an odor that was not pleasant. Food was served lukewarm, and they were out of sparkling water and beer. Not a great showing.

   Hi Anthony I am very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your experience. We had a very busy weekend hence running out of sparkling water. As for the beer, we were experiencing issues with our Glycol system which ensures that beer is cold. Rather than serving beer that was not as cold as it should be, we chose to wait until we could get a tech to look at it. We hope that you give us another chance next time you are in town

    Outstanding! The food was excellent, the service was friendly and efficient, and there was live music in the bar. The porchetta with mashed potatoes was excellent, and Josue was a fantastic server. The value for money was fantastic as well. We will definitely be back!
