El Sanderson invita a sus comensales a dejarse caer por la madriguera del conejo y celebrar el 150 aniversario de Alicia en el País de las Maravillas con un magnífico té del Sombrerero. Nice mad hatters afternoon tea great few surprise made the experience extra special for my guest. Staff are lovely and don’t forget to read the quotes on there aprons. 😀

This was very average high tea - scones tasted stale. Asked for a refill of tea and never got it. Very, very overpriced for the cost. Decor was very blah as well. Would not recommend.

I’ve done a bunch of themed afternoon teas in London with my kids and this one was by far the worst. Every little request was too complicated and caused so much drama (like requesting my kids’ ham and cheese sandwich to be made without mayonnaise.) I was told the chef felt that was “too difficult.” Due to all the service challenges, it wasn’t a relaxing or fun experience and the quality of the food in no means merited the price. I recommend instead the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory tea at One Aldwych or the Science Tea at the Ampersand Hotel. The service, food, ambiance and theming is MUCH better there.

My first afternoon tea experience in London was truly memorable.All the savories, including the sandwiches and tartlets, were absolutely delicious. The staff were kind and attentive. One male staff member kindly took a photo of my daughter and me, which made us very happy. A female staff member was especially thoughtful, she let us know that we could take the leftover sweets home, which was very considerate.

Not sorry the Price. You can find tea experiences with much better food and hair Price in other places. Alice & Wonderland was just the cups and plates, nothing special. Service was great though. They allowed me to come in 1h earlier and waiter helped me chargent my phone.

Very disappointing unfortunately. This was due to inattentive waiting staff. I waited almost the whole 2 hours for a coffee to arrive and asked 4 times (can see this from my reciept where it was logged as 4 coffees ordered!) we didn't have the same waiter twice and our repeat sandwhiches and scone request was never met. The filling of the sandwhiches were too rich and heavy on mayo but not much else. All in all ... there was nothing wonderland about this... apart from some printed choc discs with a hint of the character. The menu wasn;t explained to us and just plonked onto the table. Very poor.

We spent £300 and barely ate anything. The teapots were tiny, the pastries tasted like something from a grocery store—either overly sweet or stale—and the scones were dry. Even the kids didn’t enjoy it. We were seated right next to a service station with a stained rug and no air circulation, despite the fact that only two other tables were occupied. I had to ask to be moved. The decor was disappointing as well—very few “Alice in Wonderland” touches aside from a few themed plates and signs. For the price, we expected a more immersive experience. The service was also extremely slow. Definitely not worth the money.
