Maba owner's deep appreciation of Vietnamese cooking was developed at a young age helping his mother in the kitchen. He came to United States at the age of nine and spent much of his time either cooking for his siblings or watching PBS Food.

Soon after college, he reconnected with his passion and together with his wife started a chain of Chinese drive thru restaurant. After a decade in the food industry, he wants to start a restaurant that shares a piece of his history which is born in Southern Vietnam but raised in America.

Maba serves Asian food with a twist. You will taste authentic Asian ingredients like fish sauce, mint, and basil throughout its menu but you will find the taste to be anything but traditional Asian. Some items will surprise your palette with a playful use of Western ingredients.

Maba is unique because it embodies a common bond among many Americans.

Very impressed with the quality and creativity of the food. Everything was delicious. We would especially recommend the Osso Buco salad.

We love Maba. They have added items to the menu lately. We ordered the carmelized shrimp and the stir fried mushrooms. The food was excellent and so is the service! Highly recommend.

It was our anniversary. We booked thru open table With that message Thought they wud do something but no they did not Good as great Just the service was bad. It took too long for the food to come in

Once again we had simply a spectacular meal. The best we've had in awhile. Mary K always gets the Vietnamese Papaya Salad salad which was excellent again. Then we ordered two specials: seared Brussels sprout, spicy hoisin, bacon, onion, cilantro, and Pan-seared Japanese Eggplant Szechaun demi-glace, siriacha, spring onion, fried shallots, cilantro, maba fish sauce. Wonderful. Finally we got Soy seasoned beef, strozzapreti, Bok Choy, celery, carrots, onion, garlic, spicy After a number of visits, three of our 4 dishes were new to us and things turned out better that our other excellent meals. This is not a fancy restaurant, dineresque, but pleasant. We prefer to sit outside. It's an amazing bargain.
