Great staff, good food, less than a desirable atmosphere.. also paid $267 for 2 people. Definitely not worth the experience as much as I hate to day it. I have been to all the M restaurants several times and M Sushi as well as M Kokko will be the only 2 I return as much as I wanted last night to be much more than it was..

The food was amazing! Each dish had layers of flavor, and we enjoyed it all. The restaurant is small and intimate, but with extra tables outside. The food was not cheap (but worth it) and the wine by the glass expensive but good quality. We will definitely return.

The food is fresh and flavorful. All the staff are personable and knowledgeable. The menu is divided between cold and hot dishes, all of which are shareable. We sat at the bar and enjoyed talking with the head chef and bartender while watching our food being prepared. Definitely recommend.

We enjoyed our tapas meal, especially the forbidden noodles, the salmon tartar and the lobster shumai. The atmosphere is bright, industrial. Compact restaurant. Very good wine selection and tasty cocktails.

The food was delicious. Some items a little pricey but the quality and unique ingredients were amazing. The pork belly was definitely our favorite. The staff was knowledgeable, and extremely attentive. Will definitely be going back!!

Absolutely wonderful experience! The food was outstanding with so many unique flavors. Everything came out with perfect timing. Our server Sam was THE BEST! Personable, made some great suggestions and took an outstanding experience to another level. We will definitely be back!

Finally was able to try M Test Kitchen. Service and drinks were exceptional. Food was good but not great. We had the beef carpaccio and scallop crudo (very yummy). We also had green curry and fried rice. The flavors for each were great but the seafood was dry (we had swordfish with green curry and shrimp was on fried rice). Would go back again and get appetizers and drinks (excellent wine menu). My husband had a watermelon margarita and it was delicious.

Our server was attentive yet gave us our space as well. The food came out nicely spaced. Everything tasted so good! The Japanese Mojito was delicious. The prices were high but it tasted so good. I won’t stop thinking about how delicious everything tasted for quite awhile.

Menu was pretty similar to three months ago but DANG is this food good. There were four of us and we shared eight dishes in three rounds. Service is attentive, food creative and delicious, and a great night out.

If you’re a fan of the M franchise, you need to try the test kitchen. Such a great idea and the best here goes into production elsewhere. Service was a little spotty and noise was too much to be able to talk w the wait staff without feeling like you were yelling but the food and drinks made up for those hiccups

Really enjoyed our dinner at M Kitchen. We sat at the bar and had top notch service. The food was amazing as were the cocktails. It's a really cool space and everyone that works there went above and beyond. Highly recommend!

Excellent food! We opted for a variety of small plates, it was all so tasty. We were a party of 4 and each had personal favorites--mine were the shishito peppers, others voted for XO fried rice, lobster shumai, and grilled pork belly. Wait staff were personable and attentive.

Food is delicious and well priced. We ordered everything on the menu except for the caviar and the sake ice cream and split it amongst four people and it came out to about $60 to $70 per person before taxes (and cocktails haha). Favorite thing might be the green curry with swordfish (although it's hard to pick). Least favorite thing was the beef and broccoli. It was good and the sauce was great but it just didn't live up to all the other food that was so much more delicious. Again nothing wrong with it but just not wowed. Also, the little gem salad is amazing. The dressing is sooooo good.

Another amazing visit to M Test Kitchen! My husband and I were so excited for this new menu and it did not disappoint. I know we will both keep our eyes open for the next evolution of the menu! Definitely our favorite new restaurant and we will be back!

Everything I ate was perfect. The little gem salad, the lamb, the lobster, the curry and the wines were so delicious. I wanted to try all the things, but I will just have to keep going back :-)

Ate at the bar, watched the chefs work their magic with some amazing dishes. Bone marrow mousse for example, was a delight, and something I never tried in that version. Also, the fried rice is a must. Service was terrific, and I got to meet both the executive chef and the sous chef. They clearly enjoy creating new dishes, and I’m looking forward to the menu changes, being a test kitchen and all. Can’t wait to return!

We loved the food. Almost every dish was outstanding and even our least favorite was quite good. It was neat to try new things. We had to wait a bit for our table as there were some hiccups but it was worth the wait in the end. I found the sparkling wine option to be pretty disappointing for this caliber level restaurant.
