   Food was great. This was our second visit. Plates are large (shareable for smaller appetites). Service has been spotty and slow on both visits. Had to flag down people for drink refills and getting bill. Waited on drinks first because they “were out of cups and were washing glasses”. Restaurant was only 1/3 full so obviously not enough glassware for service.

   Quiet Sunday lunch on the patio overlooking the river. Ceviche and fajita beef tacos were very good . Excellent value with lunch menu available on weekends and free validated 2-hour parking at adjoining garage.

   The food was excellent! It is a nice departure from all the chain restaurants around the Riverwalk area.

   This was a great find! Food was delicious, and service was excellent. The restaurant was very busy that night, great vibe!

   Great food, great atmosphere, great service and very reasonable prices for the area. The drinks from the bar were great too. Highly recommended if you are looking for Tex Mex cuisine and a little bit of an upscale experience.

   Seated right on the river walk this place exceeded my expectations. The service was excellent and the food even better. Will definitely be back!

   Extremely nice and friendly. Service was outstanding and we got our food within 15 minutes of sitting down

   Great new restaurant on the Riverwalk. Beautiful space and good service. The menu has traditional Tex Mex and some twists on old classic. Food was executed well and very delicious. Creative drink menu too. Parking in attached Travis garage was super convenient and the restaurant validates. We will be back soon.

    Our experience at Luz Roja was an excellent one. Our server was very attentive and made sure to check in with us during drinks, appetizer, and entrees. I highly recommend ordering the queso flameado with chorizo — the tortilla accompanying it were incredible.
