   This restaurant has a beautiful and welcoming ambiance. The food was outstanding and the portions very generous. We enjoyed our dining experience.

   The overall experience was great. The service and service weren’t as good as the ambience and overall experience. The service was just a reflection of the newness, the expectation I had and knowing I was going to provide a review. The food was great, I had the risotto and my kids had the pizza while we enjoyed it. As it is a new place we didn’t pick our favourite menu items this first visit but there were other options that I all sound great.

   Overall the experience was wonderful. Our server Steve was very attentive to our table and managed to turn around our order in record time so we had plenty of time to get to the ballet. We all enjoyed our dinner and the servicing sizes are plentiful, so had leftovers to take home. The only minor negative is the restaurant was a bit noisy when it got busy, just to keep in mind depending on your group.

   Delicious food and drinks. Our olives were missed but we were okay with it. The server and owner was so kind to pack us a box home - best olives I’ve ever had.

   Can’t say enough, the food was great! Quality, portions and value, outstanding. Service was 10/10. Will be back very soon!

   Great atmosphere and an even more enjoyable dinner . The roasted carrots were exceptional and the meatball delicious. We will be back for more soon!

   Essentially the food was really good and great value for money, also the ambience was just right. However, the service left a great deal to be desired, our server Steve was largely absent!!!!!!

   This was our first time at Lusi and it was a great experience. The ambiance, food, and service were all excellent. We were lucky to have Steve and Lauren taking care of us — Steve, who we knew from a previous restaurant, came over to say hi and gave us VIP service all night. Everything we ordered was fresh and full of flavor. We’ll definitely be back — Lusi is our new go-to spot in Calgary.

    I guess the one questionable thing was the burnt bread used in the bruschetta. Other than that meal was overall not bad but my palate is not sophisticated enough for the carbonara pizza it had some kind of sour mustard paste that was not what I was expecting at all . The thin crust was a bit too much like a dried bread crust again not what I was expecting but may appeal to others . The red wine was fine and so was the coffee and dessert I had . The server was very good , attentive and professional overall. The place is very busy so don’t go there for a quiet dinner it’s family oriented and brisk . I would have preferred a booth but there are only 4 that I saw . What more can I say I guess I was expecting something different than what Lusi is but that doesn’t mean it’s won’t appeal to others .
