Since the refurbishment Luppolo lacks character! Additionally, the service was poor - the waiter poured the wine missing the glass and spilling a fair bit on the table! No apology and did not clean up the mess. We were also not given the option of tasting the wine first.

Great food with plenty of choice. Service was excellent. We were a table of 7 including 2 young children. Really enjoyed everything.

My visits to Luppolo have always been great. The King prawn linguine is amazing. The service is very good (particularly yesterday, on Mothers day). Its also priced reasonably. I'm definitely becoming a regular! :-)

The service was shocking. We had to wait too long for the starter (50mins). And main course similar. Trying to get a drink was dificult. It’s a local restaurant which we have regularly atended over the years. We are not going back anytime soon. Just alfil!

I have eaten here since its inception and have always had a good time, the food and ambience are really good. I was hoping for a little bit more from the recent refurbishment but it remains a good place for a beer and a pizza

They took over an hour for a table of 6 to get served four pizzas and one salad and a pasta dish. The free olives were nice as an apology.

The food was good as usual, but disappointed in the service as when booking I had noted that it was a meal for my daughters 5th birthday (selected as a special occasion from the drop down menu) and if they could provide a desert with a candle it would make her day. At the restaurant when I mentioned this I was asked if I had brought my own candle (??) and then the staff said they would look into it. They never came back to explain the situation and nothing was provided. I wont be as over the top as suggesting it ruined my daughter's birthday, but it would have been a nice touch and seems like something pretty standard for a restaurant to provide. I think this is the only restaurant I have been to that doesn't provide anything for a birthday. It was also pretty clear that it was her birthday (large badge etc) and none of the staff said a word. Again not a disaster, but its the small things that endear residents to a local restaurant and they have lost quite a bit of our goodwill from this occasion.
