    Had a wonderful dinner at Luminosa. Out waiter Jesse was attentive and made some great suggestions with choices and explained the dishes well. We were not upsold on items but still had enough food. I recommend Luminosa for a date night to impress your significant other.

    This was my first time at Luminosa and I will be back. Porter, our server, was knowledgeable and courteous and his service was excellent. The food was delicious - fresh and well-prepared. I do not usually write restaurant reviews but our experience at Luminosa was worthy of an excellent review.

    First impression was very good. Our waiter acted in a pretentious manner and missed some of our orders. For example I ordered 2 marrow tater tots for 4 people. One was brought and the waiter was surprised that we said we ordered two. Eventually the second was brought, which sort of broke the rhythm of our experience. Some bread was brought which was very good, but without telling us what it was since it was not normal French bread or the like. our mains were brought a bit staggered. Two roasted chicken and two rigatoni were both good. No cheese was offered. We ordered the zucchini as a contorno. It was limp and without good flavor. WE ordered a second bottle of wine telling another server to please bring it. It never came so I asked another server about it and he came back saying the bottle had been brought and that our server would pour. He never came. When he finally appeared he didn't seem to know we wanted another bottle. Since we were basically finished I cancelled and finally got the check after some wait. I think it's obvious that poor service in what purports to be fine dining really diminishes the dining experience greatly,

    Our experience was fantastic. The food was delicious, service was wonderful. We were celebrating our anniversary and they really went above and beyond to make it special.

    The most delicious Quiche I’ve ever eaten. Not overly cheesy or eggy, just very light and fluffy with nice herbs and a side salad. We were brought zapolles; gratis, which were also very light and fluffy! Rolled in Cinnamon sugar with a Strawberry compote to dip into….beautifully done! Once again, Luminosa doesn’t disappoint! Now, I have a tire around my waist to work off, but it was worth it!

    The food is excellent. However, the music was so loud we could barely converse. That alone will keep me from returning even though I live in Asheville and was looking forward to enjoying the restaurant often. Our server was distracted and inattentive. At the end of the meal we had to wait for over 10 minutes for him to show up with the bill.

I also want to apologize for the falling off of service at the end of your meal. This is certainly not our standard here at Luminosa, and I apologize that this left an extremely lackluster end to your experience with us. I really hope that you will give us the opportunity to welcome you back for an experience on us that we might be able to leave a much better impression.
