The most delicious Quiche I’ve ever eaten. Not overly cheesy or eggy, just very light and fluffy with nice herbs and a side salad. We were brought zapolles; gratis, which were also very light and fluffy! Rolled in Cinnamon sugar with a Strawberry compote to dip into….beautifully done! Once again, Luminosa doesn’t disappoint! Now, I have a tire around my waist to work off, but it was worth it!

The food is excellent. However, the music was so loud we could barely converse. That alone will keep me from returning even though I live in Asheville and was looking forward to enjoying the restaurant often. Our server was distracted and inattentive. At the end of the meal we had to wait for over 10 minutes for him to show up with the bill.

I also want to apologize for the falling off of service at the end of your meal. This is certainly not our standard here at Luminosa, and I apologize that this left an extremely lackluster end to your experience with us. Luminosa was amazing, food was excellently crafted, drinks where exceptional as well. Work yourself through a variety of courses so that you can enjoy everything. The service was also very helpful in selecting a great choice in each category, and was great in assisting and being attentive to every detail.

My wife and I just visited this restaurant for the first time within the past week. Since then we have dined there twice, once for weekend brunch and once for dinner. We were seated only in the ground level dining room, but I understand that both the rooftop bar views and the subterranean "speakeasy" room are both impressive. Above all, I would say that the service level during both of our visits was truly exceptional. I want to say (although I cannot be certain) that our server for the brunch last weekend was David. The server for our wedding anniversary dinner a few days later was Demetri. We were greeted for our anniversary dinner with a very special anniversary card signed by multiple members of the staff, escorted to a special two-person table at the "tip of the flatiron" with a nice view and quiet ambiance. We were also invited to take the special little flower arrangement - with vase - home with us to commemorate the occasion (we did). We were served some special house-made wine-like drinks (I forget the name) for the occasion as well. Demetri was particularly attentive and eager to attend our every need. A+++ for service for Luminosa! The food was excellent at both dinner and brunch. We had a margharita pizza and steak, with asparagus and their delicious "little gem" grilled salad for dinner. The steak and egg brunch dish and cappucino was excellent as well. Highly recommended!

The space is beautiful. Was very cozy and I felt like the vibe fit the building in the area. Our server was very helpful explaining the menu and I thought it was quite kind of her to make my father an iced tea with their hot tea since they do not have traditional southern iced tea. We had a squash pizza which I absolutely loved, the bucatini was very very good and I probably would not have ordered that but someone else did and we shared it. I also really liked the grilled little gem salad. we had the ribeye it was brought to us a little cold but it tasted fine. The polenta was amazing. The trout was pretty good it did have quite a few bones in it. The only food item that we had that was a little disappointing was the collard greens. The portion was really small for the price and it was just also cold and not really when I was expecting. We had tiramisu and Affogato for dessert both were delicious. I will definitely be back especially to for pizza and pasta.
