The wife and I hit this spot up on a whim last night and it did not disappoint. The drinks were on point and the food was just as good. Very creative menu. Everything Bagel Chicken Wings? Yes please! It was a little crowded due to sweetest day but the service didn’t miss a step. We were in and out with time to spare. The prices were moderate. I’ve had worse food and paid more. Definitely coming back to this little Gem on Cass and Grand River!!

The building is beautiful, our waiter was very polite, and the food was delicious. But, we waited for our food for nearly and hour and a half, and then our reservation was marked unattended. These are different times, and hard to keep staff so I would go again.

Service was slow; server was great - not her fault.

This place has so much potential. I didn’t care for the ginger glazed salmon. It was way to much going on all in that dish. Partner said his meal was a 6/10. Please make some adjustments to the menu.

First time here and wont be our last, one of the best meals we have had in metro Detroit.

The food and atmosphere was lovely. The drinks and dinner were tasty.

I cannot believe how beautiful this restaurant is. The natural lighting and customer service was fantastic.

As a vegan, there were options and I didn't feel deprived. I do wish, however, that the lentil burger would be generous with the cashew cheese and perhaps more veggies to make it more robust.

I would recommend this place if you're looking for a romantic date or with anyone that you care about.

Sweetest day

Our server Keith was attentive and personable - and gave a well-deserved recommendation for the Everything Bagel Wings - they were amazing! We then shared the Asian salad with blacked salmon. Yummy, with a ginger dressing and lots of crunch. I'll be back!

Small menu, but something for everyone. Took the family for a Pre red wings home opener meal - you will not be disappointed!

Overall the experience was great! The restaurant look and feel was amazing! Great for date night or hanging with some girlfriends! Our server Devante was very nice and pleasant! He was attentive and took care of all of our needs! He’s a keeper! 😁 Definitely will be returning!

Enjoyed it greatly. Our table ordered the ginger glazed salmon and the shrimp & grits and we were all happy with our orders and the service. Have been to Lumen several times and will definitely be back. Great location and lots of convenient parking options.

For our first time at Lumen we enjoyed the delicious food and we were very pleased with the attentive service. We were prepared to be patient due to staff shortages in most restaurants. We didn’t experience any delays with food preparation or service. We were able to enjoy the night with our friends.

Very slow service

Great for a meet up with friends or a date night. Great outdoor seating.

Our server was phenomenal, the food was excellent, and the cocktails were great.

I do recommend, honestly. Good food and our waiter was outstanding at a very busy, under-staffed restaurant. Only complaint: Reserved for 5, called a few days later asking to expand to six but was told it wasn't possible due to over-booking and kitchen couldn't handle anymore. Okay, I understand. When we arrived we were seated at a table for 6!!!!!! Seriously???!!!

our server was very nice, and the location is great. but the food quality did not match well with the prices and ambiance... the food reminded me of a yard house. will prop be back for the location and nice drinks though :)

Good food (vegetarian options) , good service (food came timely) , clean, safe environment (staff wore mask & the windows were open to keep the place properly ventilated) . I will return.

Good ambience. Food was ok, for the price I felt it could have been better, mine seemed like it wasn't freshly cooked. Bread we ordered was un-edible, they did take it off the check. Didn't order drinks, way too expensive. Blueberry beer was good. Was looking forward to the creme Brulee Cheesecake...VERY disappointed...it was just regular cheesecake.. I expected it to be crunchy on the top...like creme brulee.

Overall, it was OK. Probably won't come back.

I have been visiting Lumen since they first opened. The food and the service has always been wonderful.

For starters we ordered pretzel sticks and everything bagel wings. Entrees were steak & frites, glazed salmon with sushi rice cake and veggies, and kids burger & fry meal. Everything was DELICIOUS! We ordered the Sangria, Rosé, and Capri Sunset (I think). Each of them were good too. Dominique was our server. She provided A1 service.

Great. Price, decor, food& location

Food was delicious. Had to wait a little while for the food but it was not a problem under the circumstances in the industry. The wait just provided more time for our party to relax and enjoy the evening.

There was six people In our party and all six people loved their menu choice. Lumen is at the top of our list!

The food and the service was great. Please just get a few more things on the menu. Crab Cakes.

Lovely atmosphere. Disappointing meal. Pasta Palomino was overcooked--noodles and vegetables were mushy, and the dish looked congealed like it had been under a warming lamp for too long. Might have just been an off night. I've been there twice before, and it was good.

Went there for my sisters birthday dinner and thought it was great as I read the reviews.
I was disappointed in the food. The location and the setting was great! but the food wasn’t good. We ordered 4 different dishes and every dish disappointed us.

This was our first visit and won't be our last. The bar was extremely well stocked and everyone had a delicious meal. It's a beautiful place, too!

Enjoyed a nice last minute dinner here - happy to be able to get a reservation when many places are not open on Sunday evening. Friendly & attentive service and good food. No complaints!

This has always been a favorite of ours however we feel quality has gone down. Our waitress Brianna was a perfect 10! She was great! Super happy! But the feel of the rest of the staff just gave off a different unprofessional vibe as we watched around.

Service and food excellent , but our meals took very long to come to us.
