Lumen Detroit at Beacon Park offers a unique dining experience in the heart of the city, blending modern architecture with a vibrant park setting. The restaurant features floor-to-ceiling retractable windows and one of Detroit's largest outdoor patios, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor ambiance. Guests can enjoy seasonally inspired Modern American cuisine, craft cocktails, and an extensive bar selection, whether on the rooftop or by the cozy outdoor firepits. With its lively atmosphere and picturesque views of Beacon Park, Lumen is the perfect spot for any occasion.

We offer valet parking for $15 Thursday-Sunday. There is also metered street parking available on a limited basis. Please note that reservations will be held for 15 minutes, after which they are subject to cancelation. We allot 2 hours per table for dining, after which we may ask for your table. Due to the possibility of inclement weather our patio tables are available on a first-come first-served basis.

Came here for Father’s Day and we really enjoyed everything we ordered. The drinks were great and the atmosphere was nice. The Everything Bagel Wings and Pork Belly were a hit and everybody enjoyed their entrees (salmon, lamb chops and steak). I really wanted the Sea Bass, but they were out! All the more reason to come again, and we definitely will!

We went for Father’s Day brunch and it was perfect! Beautiful weather out all the windows were open. The food was outstanding and the service was perfect. I will definitely come back here again.

Everything was splendid—curry mussels, Thai crispy salmon, and walleye. The curry mussels were the star of the evening! The cookie butter nana pie had definite cheesecake vibes. Top notch dessert paired with crème brûlée banana slices.

Had a great time prior to a Tiger game. Donovan was our server and was prompt and friendly. The Brussels sprout app was amazing, burgers and salads were very good, especially the chicken added to the salads was moist and thick. Can’t wait to go back and maybe play pickle ball in courts in park next to restaurant!

Had walleye and it was a bit dried out. Calamari for appetizer was good. Ate there couple times before and I think quality of food has gone down a bit. Our server was very nice and attentive.

This was my first time at Lumen. The ambiance is nice for a date or out with friends. I ordered the chicken Milanese and my friend ordered the walleye. The portion sizes were more than enough and delicious! Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive. Our experience overall was great. I would definitely recommend.
