Issues from start to finish. Service mistakes, poorly prepared entree, and unpleasantly loud.
Best meal yet, Burrata, octopus and Branzino...French White wine
For my fathers day brunch, my wife and I were seated in the back on the covered deck, which was full of light, but hot and humid. Your establishment really needs an overhead fan in this area! Your staff, especially Henry are outstanding!
GREAT Hampton resturant, lots of fun, long bar, well run. Everyone wants to be helpful. Food is delicious!
Typical Hamptons hotspot. Nice space high volume Overpriced for the food quality (very typical of Hamptons trendy spots). Many mistakes in food prep on our main courses. They offered to take it off our bill and even offered dessert ( we opted for yogurt next door) which was fine but then brought a bill that added stuff we never ordered sprinkled in with stuff we did order. Mistake? Who knows! we hd a lot to drink.
Another @never go back place.
Food was meh.
Service here continues to be a disaster. The place was relatively empty (maybe 5 total tables?) on a Sunday at 630 PM; and yet we were delivered the wrong appetizer and our entree order was never fired. I was hopeful this season they might get it right, but it seems like they've fallen into the familiar trap of worrying about being cool instead of worrying about being good.
Great evening. Your crew was great too!!! Very welcoming!! Fun.
This restaurant is pretty happening and a night scene for Sag Harbor. The dining options are interesting and most of the food was very good and wood oven cooked. The drink menu could be expanded. But the bar area was packed so I figured most people didn’t mind the lack of custom drink options.
Everything was great, just need to speed things up
This was our first visit but definitely not the last. The food was outstanding. Everyone in our party had the bronzino and all agreed it was delicious. The service was just right. Not too overbearing but we were definitely not ignored.
My only complaint was the noise level. VERY LOUD, almost to a point of not being able to have a conversation.
While pretty good, our mussels were mostly closed. I told the waiter, however nothing was offered. We should have been comped for something.
very fine. branzino was yummy. cauliflower was delish.
Service was horrible, waitress used phrases like . That’s my bad , I got you , I’ll check it out . Our food never came , after asking for manager it came in 10 minutes. By the manager . The veal chop was the worse piece of meat I ever saw: all fat an raw . We called back the manger . The waitress was useless. She had Birdied blond hair . Go to other table if you dare to go here . My wife switched to the fish , they knew the veal chop should have not been offered. I guess the circus was closed that night . The front desk guy with glasses was a joke.
Grilled lobster was delicious , a tiny bit too charred on outside. Service is much improved over last year, resulting in a wonderful evening. I’ll be back.
Go as often as you can!!! Food and people are incredible.
Top notch on every level as always. Nothing less to be expected from chef.
Loved the food! Especially the burrata with basil pesto and the pasta with octopus--wow! We'll be back soon. Comfy booth for 4 was perfect and the service was spot on, servers were attentive and friendly :)
Lobster thermidor and the dessert were excellent. Also friendly waiters, nice seating, also at the bar for a cocktail or late night snack. Will definitely come back!!
I was pleasantly surprised by how much Lulu has improved fro when they first opened. Service and food were great. Their wine list is expensive with bottles <$50 few and in a corner of wine list.
This is hands down my new favorite restaurant on the East End. I had been dying to check this place out since my cousin recommended it, and had been waiting for another restaurant week to pop up (since it is a bit pricey). Now I don't think I could go anywhere else for restaurant week! I went with my boyfriend; both of us LOVE food and are always willing to try new things. Every dish we had left us speechless...delectable. To start he had the P.E.I. Mussels A-La-Plancha, I had an Artichoke dish. Entree; he had the Tile fish and I had the Organic Chicken with carrot puree (which I've never had before) that was so creamy and smooth. Dessert; he had the creme brulee, and I had the molten chocolate cake. All the servers we had we friendly and prompt, and the ambiance was romantic; perfect for our date night. Also, anytime I can get a mezcal cocktail I do. This one was one of (if not the best) I've ever had. HIGHLY recommend, even if you are reconsidering because of the distance. MAKE. THE. DRIVE! You won't regret it.
Great meal, great service!
This latest incarnation of s restauramnt on this site is far and away the most appealing. It is extremely well designed and the banquettes are very comfortable. The staff is extremely friendly without being cloying. Thankfully there is no music to numb the senses. The food is well prepared grill/bistro food. i had the artichoke hearts appetizer which was warm and tasty follow by the 1 1/2 pound lobster which tasted like ...lobster. Not a bad thing. one sensed the high (Saturday night) energy which was the result of both a lively local crowd and an ewnthusiastic staff
We love stopping Lulu's on Sundays for happy hour and a bite or two. This time was Easter dinner. Everything was superb!!!!!!!
The burger was the best on a complimentary roll. Delish at $23! Good beer selection. We ate at the bar. Staff accommodating, but impersonal. Pricy.
Excellent service, excellent and delicious food. Ambience is warm and inviting
Everything was great I do recommend this restaurant and I will definitely go back.
Very tasty food. Grilled Shrimp Provençal special appetizer was extremely good, which was a good thing as I was a bit shocked at their close to $30 price. I think when a starter approaches the price of an entrée, the server should let you know the cost. That aside the food was very good and the service was also very good.
The service was excellent and so were the appetizers.
The pasta with mushrooms was overdone and too much cream and cheese.
The branzino was tasty but very small and had lots of bones despite being filleted.
Excellent in every category- only slight issue was our wonderful server was a little spread thin on a very busy night
Nice variety and imagination with the menu options. We both enjoyed our appetizers and main courses. Good flavor and portions. Friendly service all around from greeter to servers. Will definitely return to check out the more casual options which also looked good (burger & pizza).
My wife and I cane here to visit our friend Carlo, who is a chef here. We were spoiled with food and how great that food was. What a simple amazing perfect menu they have. If you haven’t tried it here you need too. I feel the menu is almost under priced for the quality of food they deliver. The staff were all amazing too. I give it a 20/10!
This is a restaurant I want to like. We dined there when it first opened and it was disappointing. Tried again last summer and again disappointed. Gave it another try on Saturday night, and again we were disappointed, Service was beyond slow as we waited twenty minutes for our waitress to take our drink order. We ordered two entrees, their half chicken on a plank and a skirt steak. Chicken was quite good but the steak was fatty and sub par, but their fries almost made up for it.
We will try it again mid week when they are less overwhelmed.
I have eaten at LuLu's many times and have never had an unsatisfying meal. Tonight in particular for restaurant week, the food was exceptional and bountiful. Which usually isn't the case with most restaurants during this promotion.
The staff is always friendly and makes you feel welcomed and their service is exemplary. It's a great go to spot in or off season in the Hamptons!
Delicious food, nice ambiance, very friendly wait staff. So glad we decided to check this place out.
Our Restaurant Week visit was our first to this Sag Harbor newcomer. The Restaurant Week menu was inventive and the food delicious. We will most certainly be back.
Really great place but sadly understaffed. Waitress was great but over loaded.
Overall a very good place. The one drawback the night I was there, however, was that they seemed understaffed and it caused the service to suffer somewhat. Despite being overwhelmed, the staff was as attentive and friendly as they could have been under the challenging circumstances.
Excellent. Second time there and had great experience again. Food is great, diverse (including vegetarian) and place is really cozy and nice. Minor issue, but both times kitchen made tiny mistakes, though nothing the Maitre D’ would not fix immediately - he is always very very attentive and welcoming.
