It was my first visit to the restaurant and it was a great choice. We were celebrating my husband's birthday and the waitress made sure he (and the entire table) enjoyed the experience.
I had the lamb very tasty good portion, would go back again some fay
The building is nice and has a view of the distillery in rear and tv’s for sports. We had 3 appetizers and a rib plate with 3 cocktails. The cocktails were good but the food was just average. It’s basically a different version of TGI Friday or that genre of restaurant. It’s a place for the 20 year old set who haven’t developed taste buds.
Amazing food, dessert, and drinks. Service from everyone was so kind and friendly. Definitely will be back with Family, friends, and girlfriends to share my wonderful experience.
Unfortunately, we never got to order anything because no one came to our table except for the bus person serving water. When another couple was seated after and near us, began to place their order, we asked their server if she was our server. She replied no so after being seated for nearly 20 minutes among only four tables in total, we decided to leave before getting upset any further. We were celebrating our 44th anniversary so we took our party to Houston’s up St. Charles Ave that we had past along the way. They treated us like royalty. Thanks Houston’s, for saving the day!
We had a great experience. Everything we ordered was delicious.
My first time here in NOLA and I ate so much creole and cajun that I wanted something different. The Boudin eggrolls were great. The sugarcane pork skewers were just okay. The avocado crab dip was too whipped and no crab was in sight. Now the main course, was phenomenal! The lambchops were amazing the chimichurri complimented it well, the flavors were robust and flavorful. The greenbeans, potatoes were good enough so the onion rings just were a bonus! I would come back here if I ever come to NOLA again!
Friends in town for a quiet MG 2021 & so enjoyed everything about Lula’s - go you will not be disappointed!
It was a birthday lunch for me. Everything we ate was delicious including crab avocado dip, Iberville salad, shrimp & grits, crawfish pasta, and chicken sandwich.
The shrimp & grits was a terrific dish. The fried green tomatoes were a wonderful addition. Only concern was: staff couldn't locate my OpenTable reservation. Glad they got it resolved!
We had a great time! I was able to surprise my husband with a birthday dessert at the end!
Loved it will definitely return. Once seated it took 12 minutes for the waiter to greet us which I hated it's a huge pet peeve. Once she did come around she was great and then food and drinks came out fast!! The chicken and biscuits was very good.
Had a great time. Food and drinks were great. Fast friendly and attentive service free parking in the rear of the restaurant and excellent views of St Charles st
Wonderful food, and a nice collection of specialty drinks that focus on their key products. Definitely hit them up during happy hour.
It was lovely. The food was wonderful and so was the service.
When we got there, they didn’t have our reservation. But we were seated outside. We ordered drinks. My sister didn’t like hers. The waitress didn’t ask if she wanted something else. Then we ordered appetizers. We received one. The other was never turned in. I had mentioned to the waitress that we were starving, and had only eaten lunch that day. It was 7 pm. Then we order dinner. The salads were beautiful and generous. The crawfish Mac and cheese was so hot (spicy...I guess from Tasso). I hardly ate 3 bites. The waitress noticed but only asked if I wanted a go box. Then she asked if we wanted 1 go box for 2 peoples meals (in the time of COVID)? Seriously? She never asked if we wanted dessert. Honestly, I think Maggie was distracted. It was a Tuesday night. It wasn’t crazy busy. I have to be back in New Orleans in 2 weeks, and will not be going to Lula’s again. Money is too hard to come by. And there are far too many excellent restaurants in that area.
Food was delicious and entrees were very creative.
we ad reservations for 1:30 at that time it seems they caters to the younger group, food was delicious but service was poor.
Food was good and cocktails were great! Our waitress was wonderful. Manager was working floor as well. Appreciated staff asking people to put masks on when away from table.
I love this place. Great for girls night or date night. Food is great & reasonably priced plus there’s happy hour every day. They even have their own parking area which is sometimes hard to find in this area.
We go to New Orleans a few times a year and we ALWAYS have at least one dinner at Lula's (this last trip we ate there twice!).
The food is wonderful and the service just as good. They make a good Lemon Drop as well!
See ya'll next time!
Fabulous ambiance...great food!
Celebrated a friends birthday. Food was delicious. Service was great! I love the atmosphere here
Always a fav when we visit New Orleans! Glad to see you are surviving through covid! Take care :)
Great, convenient location and good outdoor seating. The service and friendliness were top notch! The drinks and apps are especially good. A great place for a few friends to get together outside for apps and cocktails.
Cool place with amazing food...Get a Shrimp Boil
Started out negative because they were out of cheeseburgers couple hours before closing which is never good. Service was OK but not great. Often had to ask for refills on drinks by catching somebody’s attention. Were not checked on very often. Couple of the drinks on the menu were disgusting. Just expected more hope you feel better. It’s not bad, you’ll get a good meal here, but not worth what you pay for it on many levels.
Went for brunch with a few friends and the food was delicious as were the drinks. Will definitely be going back soon’
A perfect spot for date night! The crawfish Mac & Cheese is a must!
Portions are large and plates/bowls are too small. Food is okay. Happy hour drinks are reasonably priced and it lasts until
7.
The food....crab & advocado dip, mirliton pickle, Iberville salad with grilled shrimp, cheesburger were absolutley delicious. The drinks....cranberry lemonade and frozen blackberry mojito were also so delicious.
It was great! The food and drinks were amazing!
Lunch at Lula was excellent, service impeccable. Notable menu items: (Fried Green) Tomato Stack, Grilled Veggie Salad with protein choice, and the succulent Grilled Gulf Fish. Nice wine choices too. Crowd was sparse for lunch, support this NOLA gem!
Great food, great service! We were super impressed with menu options. Can’t beat the happy hour drink specials! Definitely recommend the lump crab and avocado dip!
Great for my birthday. We loved the drinks and atmosphere.
Birthday dinner. Server was excellent and food is great and vey good value
