Luk Fu-Live! Casino & Hotel
Went in with a reservation. Waitress was nice but she was slammed. At 630 pm. Waited forever for drinks. The sushi was good. Thought it was pricey a bit.
The service was really bad but the food was great.
The food here is excellent and the service makes you feel like a VIP! Great rainbow rolls and I hear they’re getting Hot Pot this month! Can’t wait to go back!
Food was not good and wife received the wrong order.
Hostess was rude. Informed us that their restaurant does not use “OpenTable” or other online reservation systems. We waited anyways for 2 hours then they tried to put us at a table directly next to the DJ - I thought I was at a restaurant not a night club. When I asked for 1 of the 5 open tables we walked past the hostess again was rude and told me this is all we have eat here or talk to a manager. I asked for the manager. They attempted to lower the music. So we stayed. It was short lived. Never again
The reservation made through open table does not work with this restaurant. We spoke to the manager and still had to wait 40 minutes after the reservation was made. The food was nothing to brag about. I will not be visiting this place again.
Do not book reservation on Open Table for this restaurant. They said they have not been using it for the past 2 months yet the system still allows people to schedule. They were not willing to honor the reservation and said that many customers have been "upset" over the past 2 months
I made a reservation for 8:15pm before a 9pm show at the casino. We arrived at 8:10pm and met a long line at the hostess stand. Finally when we reached the front of the line we were told by the hostess “we do NOT take Open Table reservations” and that it “Doesn’t work”, whatever that means. She said our wait is 40 minutes, which wouldn’t work because we were at the casino to see a 9pm show. I expressed my disappointment that they would not honor the reservation but they simply didn’t care.
I’ll never ever even consider eating here because of this.
When we arrived for our reservation we were told we would have to wait in line because the system was down and they were not honoring any open table reservations. I even showed them the confirm on my phone. Luckily after waiting for a while we spoke to a manager who was able to get us a seat at the bar. Not enough wait staff to handle the Friday night Valentine’s Day crowd but overall food was good.
This restaurant does not receive reservations from open table apps, I made a reservation for my wife and I for valentine's day and when we got to the restaurant they said that we had to wait in the back of the line because they don't accept online reservations. We ended up waiting 45 minutes for a table for 2. The night was nearly ruined because the other restaurant s had outrageously long wait times.
Arrived for Valentines dinner and was they didn’t get any Open Table reservations and were adding all the Open Table people to a waiting list for priority seating. We were seated about 20-30 minutes later. Service was polite but not very organized appetizers dinner and drinks arrived at the same time on the very small table
Not planning to return
I was so disappointed because the restaurant said they don’t get the open table reservation and that it would be a 20 minute wait, which turned into 40 minutes. Then we kept having to remind the waitress what dishes we ordered. When we finally got our food it was just okay. Overall not a great way to spend Valentine’s Day and we won’t be returning.
We arrived about a half hour before our reservation but were seated anyway. My husband and I both ordered Pho. It was superb but soo much. We should have ordered 1 and split the soup.
The ambiance was lacking and noise level was high. But in all fairness the restaurant is in an open area on the Casino floor. If it was closed in it would have been so much better.
We only had Pho so it is hard to really give a recommendation, but based on how good the soup was, I would give it another try
In the past great food and service. Not this time. Dumplings were the only hot item we got. Pad thai warm and had to send husband meal back it was cold. Took 20 minutes to get our drinks. Not busy at 630 pm and had reservations. Many staff standing around doing nothing but our waitress seemed to have every table in our view. Bulgogi is my favorite here, but I don't think we will go back. Very disappointed. I even changed our reservations from another restaurant to go here!
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Luk Fu. We loved our food (vegetable spring rolls, tempura platter, and Korean short ribs).
Nice Asian food. Nice location on casino floor for people watching.
Wish we had a bigger table. We shared our food, had to do a lot of shuffling of dishes, condiments, and drinks during the meal.
I recommend for the food...service kinda stinks! Probably better to go during an off time!
The apps (sticky rice and pot stickers)were ok enough, although at 7:00 on a Friday they were out of the pork spring rolls of all things.
My wife had the crispy chicken and paid $4 extra for broccoli. From the first bite, it was like eating thick rubber bands breaded in something resembling batter. It only got worse the more she searched for a chewable bite. It basically ruined her night. I tried it and it reminded me of Chevy Chase trying to eat the dried out turkey in National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. It was awful.
My chicken fried rice was very “meh” at best. I was really excited to take my wife here and were sorely disappointed.
The restaurant seemed mostly focused on the take out business versus people actually dining in. That took from the experience. Additionally, since the restaurant is in the middle of the casino the background noise detracts from the dining experience. The food however was great!
I made a lunch reservation for 9 and when I arrived I was told I did not have a reservation. Despite there being no one in the restaurant the hostess continued to deny our reservation. She took my phone showing the open table reservation to a woman behind the counter who told her to seat us. She tried seating us at a two top and I refused her telling her there would be 9 of us! She then took us the the other side of the restaurant and when we asked to move the two tables together she said no and called another woman over. She took my phone again to show the reservation and the woman told us they would put the tables together...which I informed her was what we already asked. It was a cluster! Then when we asked for separate checks she said no until I asked for the manager. The food was good but overpriced (fried rice should never be $19!).
I brought my dad to Luk Fu for Father’s Day. We were served Warm beer. We informed our server, and instead of bringing us a colder beverage or offering a different option. She brought the bottles back in pitchers with ice water! I did not want to ruin my dads time so we let them sit there and had to put Ice in our beer because it was still warm. When our food arrived it was cold. Overall I was not pleased with our visit at Luk Fu and will not return or refer anyone.
Food was OK with some dishes better than others. Beef with broccoli was bland. Chicken and string beans was very garlicky. Two people ordered shu mai but each had different sauces, not because they asked for it that way. One person asked for hot mustard and at first the server said they didn’t have it but eventually found some.
Casino was noisy in the background.
very enjoyable, would definitely go back in the very near future
The worst service ever. It took forever to get anything: order taken, drinks, food, etc. Tables that sat near us that Came 15 minutes after us has food before we even had our drinks. Noodle dishes has zero flavor. Sushi was just okay. I will never go back here and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone
Great place. Lots of options. Waitress was great. It seemed weird they didn’t have a full bar.
Excellent as always. Clean good food.
Though the food was excellent, the quality of the service was poor. The server who attended our table look irritated and annoyed, as if he wanted us to be done and gone. He never took his time to explain anything and when asked, he briefly mumbled something in his breath which came across very hostile. In the end, we just gave up and quietly decided to eat our food and get out.
Food was less than ok. And for the price that is unacceptable. Service was subpar. We felt rushed. Also, no one cleared up the plates, not even the apps plates. It was a Saturday night, so maybe that was part of it. But I don’t think we’ll be back. We had edamame, miso soup, sushi, tuna sashimi, pad thai. The worst offenders were thr sashimi and the pad thai.
We had pasta dishes with shrimp. The shrimp were not completely shelled as they should have been. We had to put our hands into our plate of pasta, pick out the shrimp and finish shelling them. I also don't want sauces and condiments left on the table with spoon in them that customers have put their hands on and used for my consumption.
Waitstaff is typically hit or miss this time they forgot my Vietnamese coffee or refill on soda and water; but the soup dumplings and singapore noodles always makes up for it 😀
Incredible pot stickers.Bulgogi and Mongolian beef were outstanding. A must go to location
